    • Megill gives up four runs in no-decision Saturday
      Tylor Megill allowed four runs in 5 1/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Astros on Saturday.



      Advice: Megill gave up five hits, walked three and struck out six. He pitched well enough to win and looked like he was going to before the Mets bullpen blew a late lead. Megill has a 5.08 ERA on the season, but he’s pitched better than that as his xFIP is 3.92. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Nationals on the road next week.

    • Paul Skenes strike out nine against Atlanta
      Paul Skenes struck out nine over six innings of one-run baseball but didn’t factor into the decision Saturday against Atlanta.

      Advice: Skenes gave up a leadoff homer to Jarred Kelenic in the first, and from that point out he was essentially lights out. The right-hander scattered six total hits in the contests with two walks allowed and 61-of-102 pitches going for strikes. To say that Skenes has lived up to the hype thus far is an understatement, and over his last four starts he’s given up a total of three runs with a 32/4 K/BB over 25 1/3 innings.     • Garcia Jr. has three-hit game in win over Rays
      Luis Garcia Jr. went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a double and an RBI against the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: Garcia Jr. scored on a wild pitch in the fourth and on Harold Ramirez’ two-run triple in the seventh. He also had an RBI single. Garcia Jr. is hitting .264 with a .695 OPS and 36 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 3:53 pm

      CJ Abrams went 2-for-3 with a double, a solo home run, a walk and two RBI against the Rays on Saturday.



      Advice: Abrams’ home run was his 13th of the season. He started the game with a home run off Aaron Civale in the first inning. Abrams is hitting .282 with an .852 OPS and 42 RBI on the season.

      Paul Sewald tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Athletics on Saturday.

      Snell (groin) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday and is expected to rejoin the Giants rotation after their road trip that ends July 7, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

      Advice: Snell threw three innings in a start with Sacramento on Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk with six strikeouts. The 31-year-old will require one more rehab appearance before being reinstated and is on track to make a start with San Francisco prior to the All-Star break.       Blake Snell (groin) will make a third minor league rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday.

      Advice: The 31-year-old southpaw pitched three innings in Friday’s latest rehab outing, giving up three runs on four hits and a walk while punching out six.       Advice: Rutschman was given a day off Friday after he played through a right hand injury Thursday, and he seems to be feeling better ahead of Saturday's contest.
