      Advice: Riley remained out of Atlanta’s lineup for the 10th consecutive contest on Thursday afternoon at Wrigley Field recovering from an intercostal strain. The 27-year-old fantasy stalwart hasn’t played since May 12. The positive news here is that he was able to resume hitting on Wednesday without any issues.     • Raisel Iglesias fans two Thursday for 12th save
      Raisel Iglesias fired a perfect ninth inning on Thursday against the Cubs to collect his 12th save of the season.

      Advice: Iglesias received the call to protect a three-run lead in the final frame and required just 12 pitches (nine strikes) to end it. The 34-year-old veteran stopper has been one of the top closers in the entire fantasy landscape this season, converting 12 of 14 save chances to accompany a solid 2.33 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 14/5 K/BB ratio ac ross 19 1/3 innings (20 appearances).     • Ha-Seong Kim steals two bags against Reds
      Ha-Seong Kim stole two bases while going 1-for-3 with a walk against the Reds on Thursday.

      Advice: Kim was also thrown out stealing for the second time this season, but the pair of thefts do bring his season total to 13. That’s a solid number, obviously, but his .216/.335/.369 slash has left a lot to be desired.     • Matt Waldron gives up two, gets no-decision
      Matt Waldron didn’t factor into the decision Thursday against the Reds after allowing two runs over five innings with seven strikeouts.

      Advice: Waldron gave up both of his runs in his first two innings before settling down quite nicely. The 27-year-old gave up six hits and two walks in another solid effort for the knuckleballer after scuffling in the early portion of the season.       Adolis Garcia hit a solo homer in a loss to the Phillies on Thursday.

      Advice: Garcia took Zack Wheeler deep in the second inning. The 31-year-old slugger has gone deep a dozen times thus far in 2024 while driving in 36 runs over Texas’s first 51 games. He also drew a walk, and he’s now slashing .253/.300/.500. Garcia is a flawed player, but the power-production is going to make him relevant for a long time. Rotoworld Today, 1:20 pm

      Riley (side) is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.

      Advice: He'll remain on the bench for a 10th consecutive game while he continues to heal up from a left intercostal strain. Atlanta had initially viewed Riley as day-to-day when he departed an April 12 game against the Mets with the injury, but the club likely would have placed him on the 10-day injured list had they known the issue would have kept him out for more than a week. Riley was able to exhibit a sign of progress by taking swings on the field Tuesday, but it's not clear if he'll be on track to rejoin the starting nine during this weekend's three-game series in Pittsburgh.       Jake Cronenworth is starting at second base for the first time in the 2024 season.

      Advice: This felt inevitable after the Padres traded for Luis Arraez, who is a well below-average defensive second baseman. Arraez will now slide to first base with Cronenworth moving to second. Cronenworth has been an above-average defensive second baseman over the last four seasons, so this move doesn’t figure to hurt the Padres at all and could be a boost for their pitchers.       Daulton Varsho went 1-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored, two RBI, and two walks against the White Sox on Wednesday.

      Advice: After drawing a walk in the first inning, Varsho brought two runs in to score on a triple in the second. After walking once again in the fourth, he crossed home plate on a base hit by Bo Bichette.       Marcell Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer to power the Braves to a 9-2 victory over the Cubs on Wednesday.

      Advice: Ozuna’s incredible season continues with another home run on Wednesday. This one was a three-run blast off Jose Cuas in the seventh inning to extend the Atlanta lead.
