      Michael Conforto (hamstring) went 1-for-3 on Friday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Sacramento.

      Advice: Conforto kicked off his rehab assignment by getting in a couple frames in left field as he works his way back from a right hamstring strain. The 31-year-old veteran was off to a strong start at the dish, with encouraging Statcast batted ball metrics to back it up, which should make him a relevant option for fantasy managers once he returns.       Luis Robert Jr. (hip) went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts on Friday in a minor league rehab contest for Triple-A Charlotte.

      Advice: Robert has gone 1-for-12 with a home run in three games for Triple-A Charlotte on his rehab assignment. There’s optimism that he’ll be ready to return early next week, but he’s going to get a couple more minor-league games under his belt this weekend to continue knocking off the rust.     • Wins with shaky outing
      Severino (3-2) allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits and a walk over 5.1 innings Friday, striking out four and earning a win over Arizona.

      Advice: Severino got off to a rough start, coughing up three runs in the first inning. He gave up one more over the next four frames before Eugenio Suarez knocked him out of the game with a solo shot in the sixth inning. Severino still earned his first win since April 17 in the chaotic 10-9 contest. He ends May with a subpar 4.91 ERA and 23:16 K:BB through 29 frames.       Munoz allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Munoz's scoreless streak is up to six innings, and he allowed just one run over 13.1 innings in May while converting all seven of his save chances during the month. The closer is 12-for-13 in save chances this year. He's been hard to hit with a 1.42 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 35:8 K:BB over 25.1 innings as the Mariners' top ninth-inning option.       Advice: Vientos received a vote of confidence before this game with Brett Baty being sent down to the minor leagues. That gives Vientos full runway to be the Mets’ starting third baseman for the foreseeable future. He should firmly be on all fantasy radars with a .327/.377/.592 slash line in 49 at-bats this season.     • Luis Severino allows five runs, wins
      Luis Severino pitched 5 ⅓ innings on Friday against the Diamondbacks and four earned runs with four strikeouts and one walk in a win.

      Advice: Seeing the win is nice, but Severino wasn’t his best on Friday. His velocity was down a tick across the board as the Diamondbacks made plenty of hard contact. Yet, Severino didn’t allow an extra-base hit until the Eugenio Suárez home run that chased him from the game. Keep an eye on whether or not that velocity levels out in his next start.       Conforto (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

      Advice: Conforto continues to work his way back from a right hamstring strain that he sustained May 11 against the Reds. Before landing on the IL, Conforto was slashing .280/.331/.490 with seven home runs and 20 RBI over 154 plate appearances. He may only need a few rehab appearances before being activated.
