    • Homers in loss
Walker went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 10-9 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Walker hit the second of a back-to-back home runs in the ninth inning -- he followed Joc Pederson's three-run blast -- but they weren't enough to erase Arizona's five-run deficit. The home run was Walker's team-leading 11th to go along with a team-high 34 RBI. He's hit safely in eight of nine games, going 11-for-35 with six extra-base hits (three homers), four RBI and six runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 5:31 am
    • Takes second loss
Hicks (4-2) allowed five runs (four earned) on eight hits and struck out four without walking a batter over 5.1 innings, taking the loss versus the Yankees on Friday.

Advice: Aaron Judge did most of the damage against Hicks, taking him deep for a three-run home run in the third inning and a solo shot in the sixth. The five runs allowed were the most Hicks has given up in a start this season, though it was a positive to see him issue no walks for the fourth time in 12 outings. Homers are becoming a problem for the right-hander -- he's allowed five of them over his last four starts after giving up just one across his first eight outings. For the season, Hicks is at a strong 2.70 ERA with a 1.12 WHIP and 52:19 K:BB over 63.1 innings. He's projected to make his next start on the road in Arizona. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:34 pm

    • Loses to Rockies
Buehler (1-3) allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and four walks while striking out seven over six innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Rockies.

Advice: Buehler gave up three runs in the third inning and a solo home run to Ezequiel Tovar in the fourth. While it wasn't a particularly sharp outing for Buehler, the Dodgers failed to support him with just five hits and two walks. He has two quality starts in five outings since returning from Tommy John surgery. Buehler is at a 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 24:7 K:BB over 25 innings this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Pirates. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:08 pm
    • Jordan Hicks shaky over 5 1/3 against Yankees
Jordan Hicks gave up eight hits and five runs — four earned — in 5 1/3 innings while picking up a loss to the Giants on Friday.

Advice: When Hicks wasn’t pitching to Aaron Judge, things went ok. Unfortunately, he pitched to Aaron Judge a few times, and he gave up two homers to the mountain of a slugger. Hicks did give up eight hits in this contest, so it wasn’t just Aaron Judge, but Aaron Judge did most of the damage. This blurb is just an excuse to talk more about Aaron Judge. Hicks will still take a strong 2.70 ERA into a start against the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks don’t have Aaron Judge. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:57 pm

    • Walker Buehler gives up three earned in defeat
Walker Buehler allowed four runs — three earned — in a loss Friday to the Rockies.

Advice: Buehler dealt with control issues, as he walked four while throwing 56-of-92 pitches for strikes. The 29-year-old allowed three runs in the third with run-scoring hits by Brendan Rodgers and Kris Bryant, and an inning later he allowed a solo shot to Ezequiel Tovar. It wasn’t a horrific start and Buehler did strike out seven, but a disappointing one considering the opponent. He’ll get the Pirates next week, assuming the rotation doesn’t change. • Homers again in win
Fry went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Friday's 7-1 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The homer was Fry's fourth in his last eight games. The 28-year-old has enjoyed a memorable May, going 23-for-60 (.383) with seven homers and 18 RBI over 21 contests for the month. He's slashing .352/.485/.629 with eight homers, 27 RBI, 27 runs scored and four stolen bases over 40 games this season. Fry offers a right-handed option at multiple positions, though he's unlikely to be needed in left field as much with Steven Kwan back from a hamstring injury. Fry's bat has been hot enough to force a few tough decisions into manager Stephen Vogt's lineup choices moving forward. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:16 pm

    • David Fry stays hot, homers again
David Fry went 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and a walk in a win over the Nationals on Friday.

Advice: What else is there to say about Fry? This long ball was his third in six games and it’s getting more and more difficult to deny his blazing hot start. He’s slashing a remarkable .365/.485/.629 with the plate discipline and batted ball metrics to match his production. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:37 pm

    • Absence continuing Friday
Westburg (hand) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Rays, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The 24-year-old will miss a second straight game after being hit by a pitch on the right hand Tuesday against the Red Sox. Westburg had X-rays come back negative and should be considered day-to-day. Ramon Urias is starting at the hot corner Friday for Baltimore. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:52 pm

    • Westburg out of lineup for second straight game
Jordan Westburg (hand) is out of the Orioles’ lineup for Friday’s game against the Rays.

Advice: Westburg is out of the lineup for the second straight game. He was hit on the right hand by a pitch on Tuesday, missed Wednesday’s game and the Orioles were idle on Thursday. Westburg is yet to be placed on the injured list and X-Rays on his hand came back negative. His next chance to get in the starting lineup will come on Saturday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:47 pm
