      McKenzie tossed three innings, allowing three runs on three hits and four walks while striking out six batters in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays. He did not factor into the decision.

      Advice: McKenzie was challenged early versus Toronto, giving up a two-run home run to Vladimir Guerrero in the top of the first inning. He later gave up a leadoff homer to Spencer Horwitz in the third, which was ultimately his final inning on the mound. McKenzie failed to pitch past the third inning for the second consecutive start Sunday, throwing just 41 of his 74 total pitches for strikes, while the four walks matched his total from his loss Tuesday versus Seattle.       Sonny Gray allowed one run on one hit in seven innings in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

      Advice: Gray also struck out eight and walked none while posting a 30 percent whiff rate and 39 percent CSW. He only made one real mistake on the day, allowing a solo home run to Patrick Bailey in the seventh inning.       Triston McKenzie allowed three runs in three innings on Sunday against the Blue Jays. He struck out six and walked four before a rain delay ended his start.

      Nick Lodolo lost to the Red Sox after yielding four runs — three earned — in 4 2/3 innings Sunday.

      Advice: Lodolo hadn’t allowed more than two runs in winning five straight starts since returning from the IL, but he didn’t have quite the same stuff today. With his curveball a little off, he settled for seven missed swings in the 77-pitch outing. He also walked four.       Lodolo was limited Sunday versus the Red Sox as a result of a blister on his left index finger, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

      Advice: Lodolo tossed 4.2 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and four walks while striking out three batters against Boston. The left-hander was tagged with the loss, while the four free passes were a season high, which is likely the result of the blister on his throwing hand. Following the contest, Lodolo said that "the feeling for the ball was not the same," but that it's "not impacting him a ton," so it's possible he'll be ready to go for his next start.     • Tosses first career complete game
      Ober (7-4) earned the win over Oakland on Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits and no walks while striking out 10 batters over nine innings.

      Advice: Ober was extremely efficient in the impressive outing, needing just 89 pitches to polish off the first complete game of his career. The right-hander threw 70 of those pitches for strikes and racked up a career-best 23 whiffs. Ober did give up a pair of solo homers -- just the third time through 15 starts that he's allowed multiple home runs -- but those didn't hurt much with Minnesota's offense putting up 10 runs.       Bailey Ober threw all nine innings while allowing just two runs with 10 strikeouts in a 10-2 rout for the Twins over the Athletics on Saturday.

      Advice: Ober gave up a pair of solo homers, and outside of those roundtrippers the 28-year-old was brilliant. He didn’t walk anyone, and even with 10 strikeouts, the right-hander needed only 89 pitches for the complete game. The A’s offense is ever-so-beatable, but credit Ober for another fantastic pitching performance against Oakland. He’s lined up to face the Mariners in Seattle on Friday.       Rodriguez (8-3) allowed seven runs on nine hits and two walks over five-plus innings Friday, striking out eight and taking a loss against Houston.

      Advice: Rodriguez gave up runs in the first and second innings but the real damage didn't come until later. He coughed up a three-run shot to Jake Meyers in the fifth inning and was charged with two runs during Houston's nine-run sixth. Rodriguez saw his three-game winning streak come to an end while taking his first loss of the month. He's given up seven runs twice this season but has allowed two or fewer runs in 10 of his 13 outings, resulting in a 3.82 ERA overall.       Grayson Rodriguez surrendered seven runs in five innings Friday in a loss to the Astros.

      Advice: Every time it looks like Rodriguez is ready to turn the corner and become an elite fantasy starter, something like this happens. Still, Rodriguez appears to be on the right path. Just three times this season has he allowed more than two earned runs, and while he’s been lit up for 18 runs in those three starts, he’s actually posted a 25/4 K/BB ratio in those outings.
