    • Not in lineup for first game
Buxton is out of the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the White Sox.

Advice: Buxton had been slated to sit out Tuesday before the game got rained out, and he'll remain out of the lineup for the makeup game. Manuel Margot will start in center field for the first contest, but Buxton should be back in the lineup for the second game. Rotowire.com Today, 8:03 am

    • Triple shy of cycle in win
Rodriguez went 4-for-4 with a solo homer, a double, two RBI and three runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Rodriguez began his night with an RBI single in the first inning and later added onto to the Mariners' lead with a towering blast to left that landed in the second deck. Rodriguez doubled in the seventh for his fourth hit of the night, and eventually was replaced in the eighth inning as a precautionary move with the team up big since he's been dealing with a quadriceps injury. Rodriguez is on a mini heater at the dish, tallying eight hits in his last 16 at-bats after a cold finish to June. For the year, he's slashing .256/.354/.658 with nine homers, 32 RBI, 43 runs and a 22:101 BB:K in 381 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 6:11 am

    • Stellar performance in win
Naylor went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run, two walks and a stolen base in Tuesday's 9-8 extra-inning win over the Tigers.

Advice: Naylor took Kenta Maeda deep in the first inning and later added the go-ahead hit in the top of the tenth in Tuesday's win. In between, he stole his fourth base of the season, his first swipe since May 14. Naylor was recently named to his first All-Star Game on the back of a fantastic first half. The 27-year-old became the fifth player this season to reach 70 RBI, and he's added 22 homers while hitting .247/.324/.503 through 86 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:59 pm

    • Bo Bichette goes 0-for-4, fans three times
Bo Bichette went 0-for-4 and struck out three times Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: The last strikeout was utter garbage, as Bichette saw six straight balls from Luke Jackson and swung at only one of them. Still, two others were called strikes anyway. Bichette has fanned 14 times in his last eight games, which seems like a particularly bad trend for a guy who isn’t hitting the ball very hard when he makes contact. Tonight’s performance pushed his OPS below .600 for the first time since mid-May. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:36 pm

    • May go on rehab stint after break
Stanton (hamstring) could begin a minor-league rehab assignment later in July, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Advice: It doesn't appear that Stanton will be ready to rejoin the Yankees immediately after the All-Star break, but he could begin playing in rehab games around that time. The slugger has been running on a treadmill and hitting, though he hasn't yet resumed on-field activities, per MLB.com. It's not yet clear how many rehab games Stanton would be asked to play, but there remains a chance he could be activated off the IL before the start of August. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:14 pm

    • Julio Rodríguez goes 4-for-4, delivers ninth homer
Julio Rodríguez went 4-for-4 with a homer and a double before coming out of Tuesday’s game against the Padres.

Advice: Rodríguez’s quad isn’t 100 percent, so the Mariners took him out with a 7-1 lead after seven innings. Rodríguez’s homer was his only hard-hit ball tonight, but it was pretty impressive, getting into the second deck at Petco Park. He’s 7-for-13 with two homers and two doubles since Friday. • Opens scoring with homer
Reynolds went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Reynolds already has four homers and 10 RBI over eight games in July, continuing his surge that lasted nearly all of June. The outfielder is batting .331 since the start of June, with 10 long balls over 34 contests in that span. He's up to 17 homers, 56 RBI, 42 runs scored, five stolen bases and a .280/.344/.486 slash line through 91 games as the centerpiece of the Pirates' offense this season. • Josh Naylor has three hits, combo meal in win
Josh Naylor went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a stolen base in a 9-8 extra-innings win over the Tigers on Tuesday.

Advice: Naylor is now up to 22 home runs, 70 RBI, and four steals on the season in what has been a tremendous campaign. His .247 batting average leaves a little to be desired, but he’s been hitting the ball hard and his underlying numbers suggested that better days were ahead. He came into tonight with a .241 batting average but .276 xBA and given how he performed against the Tigers, we could see that average continue to tick up after the All-Star break. • Julio Rodríguez back in lineup Tuesday vs. Padres
Julio Rodríguez (quad) has returned to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Padres.

Advice: Rodríguez is back in center field and batting cleanup for Tuesday’s series opener in San Diego after a one-game absence over the weekend due to a right quad injury. An MRI came back clean for any structural damage and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to need any additional time off. The hope here for fantasy managers is that he’ll benefit from some extra time off during next week’s All-Star break and come back ready to roll in the second half. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:30 pm
