    • Productive night in loss
Moore went 1-for-3 with with a two-run home run, a walk and a stolen base in a loss to the Guardians on Thursday.

Advice: Moore got the Mariners' night off on the right foot with his first-inning 429-foot shot to left that plated J.P. Crawford. The round tripper was Moore's second in the last three games, following an atypical 21-game homer drought. Moore has also been particularly active on the basepaths of late, now having recorded four steals in his last five contests to push his season total to 13. Rotowire.com Today, 9:05 am

    • Hangs on for 25th save
Helsley picked up the save over the Giants on Thursday, allowing one hit and one walk over one inning while striking out two.

Advice: Helsley took over in the ninth to protect a one-run lead and proceeded to walk the leadoff man while also coughing up a single three batters later. However, the right-hander rebounded nicely, striking out Matt Chapman to stop the late rally and earn his league-leading 25th save of the season. Helsley has converted each of his last four save opportunities, though he's also issued at least one walk in three consecutive outings. Rotowire.com Today, 5:11 am

    • Hits 11th homer
Smith went 1-for-5 with a solo home run against Colorado in Thursday's 5-3 victory.

Advice: Smith hit one of three Los Angeles long balls Thursday, bashing a 451-foot solo shot to center field in the fourth inning. It was the catcher's 11th home run of the campaign, which leads NL backstops. Across the majors, only three catchers have more homers than Smith this season, and only two (Adley Rutschman and William Contreras) have topped Smith's 45 RBI. • Cranks homer Thursday
Santander went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and a walk in Thursday's 17-5 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Santander has gone 8-for-25 (.320) with five homers and 11 RBI over his last six games. The outfielder is up to 19 homers on the year, with 10 of them coming in June. He's slashing .230/.304/.502 on the year while adding 48 RBI, 42 runs scored and 13 doubles over 70 contests. Santander has finished below a .260 batting average in each of the previous three seasons, so it's not unusual for him to make most of his impact with power. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:11 pm

    • Ryan Helsley secures MLB-leading 25th save
Ryan Helsley fired a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday against the Giants to record his major league-leading 25th save of the season.

Advice: Helsley was summoned to protect a narrow one-run lead at historic Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama and made things interesting by issuing a leadoff walk to Trenton Brooks and surrendering a two-out single to Patrick Bailey, which put the potential tying run in scoring position. He managed to wriggle out of the jam by striking out Matt Chapman to extinguish the threat. The hard-throwing 29-year-old righty has converted 25 of 26 save chances this season to go along with a sparkling 2.45 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 38/13 K/BB ratio across 33 innings (33 appearances). Simply put, he’s been one of the best closers in baseball this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:00 pm

    • Collects eighth save
Sewald allowed one hit and struck out one during a scoreless ninth to collect the save Thursday against the Nationals.

Advice: Sewald collected his first save in two weeks, having tossed just 1.1 innings over two appearances during that span prior to Thursday. Despite the inactivity, Sewald needed only eight pitches, tossing six for strikes to thwart the Nationals. Sewald did surrender just his fourth hit allowed over 12.2 innings this season and still has not allowed a run since his initial appearance of the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:15 pm

    • Smith blasts 11th home against Rockies Thursday
Will Smith went 1-for-5 with a solo home run against the Rockies on Thursday.

His home run was his 11th of the season. Smith is hitting .276 with a .829 OPS and 45 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:20 pm

    • Resumes jogging
The Rockies cleared Diaz (calf) to resume jogging Monday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: While Diaz looks to be making some progress in his recovery from the left calf strain that forced him to the injured list last Friday, he's still on track to spend more than the minimum 10 days on the shelf. The Rockies haven't yet provided a target date for Diaz's return from the IL, and Jacob Stallings should serve as Colorado's top backstop until Diaz is back in action. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:16 pm
