    • Collects three hits
Alvarez went 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI in Monday's win against Texas.

Advice: Alvarez singled and scored in the fifth inning before delivering RBI base hits in the sixth and eighth frames. He entered Monday's game in a 2-for-14 (.143) slump since returning from the injured list. Alvarez produced his first multi-hit game since April 11. He's now slashing .243/.282/.338 with 12 RBI through 23 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:41 pm
    • Report: Anthony Rizzo out 4-6 weeks with fracture
Anthony Rizzo was diagnosed with a fractured right arm following Sunday’s collision at first base and is likely to miss 4-6 weeks, The Athletic reports.

Advice: One wonders if Rizzo will have a job to come back to at that point. The Yankees will likely go with DJ LeMahieu at first and Oswaldo Cabrera at third for now. They’ll be on the lookout for an upgrade at first prior to the trade deadline; fortunately, it shouldn’t be hard to find better options. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:25 pm
    • Dealing with arm fracture
Rizzo (arm) suffered a fracture to the radial neck of his right arm and could miss 4-to-6 weeks, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Rizzo suffered the injury in the seventh inning of Sunday's 9-3 loss and he'll now likely be sidelined until at least the All-Star break. With the Yankees off Monday, the first baseman seems set to be officially placed on the injured list Tuesday, while his replacement on the roster is still unknown. In Rizzo's absence, DJ LeMahieu could see the majority of his workload over at first base while Oswaldo Cabrera picks up some starts at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:18 pm
    • Cleared to play in games
Votto (ankle) was transferred to the Blue Jays' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate Monday to begin a rehab assignment, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Votto is finally ready to play in games following a long recovery from a severe right ankle sprain which he suffered back in mid-March. He remains on Triple-A Buffalo's 7-day injured list and will rejoin the Blue Jays' top affiliate once Toronto determines he's ready to do so. The 40-year-old could eventually become an option for the big club at first base and/or designated hitter, but he's on a minor-league contract and isn't guaranteed anything. • Joey Votto (ankle) starting rehab assignment
Joey Votto (ankle) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday in the Rookie-level Florida Complex League.

Advice: Votto is back in minor league game action for the first time since suffering a right ankle injury back in spring training. The 40-year-old first baseman is hoping to make his Toronto debut at some point this year, but is a non-factor for fantasy purposes at this advanced stage of his career. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:54 am

    • Slugs eighth homer
Trevino went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Trevino is tapping into his power lately with three homers over the last five games. The catcher is up to eight long balls on the year while slashing a strong .271/.317/.451 through 47 contests. He's added 25 RBI and 19 runs scored, but he hasn't hit a double or stolen a base all year. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:27 pm

    • Too much traffic in loss
Stroman (6-3) allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out three over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Red Sox.

Advice: In addition to allowing 11 baserunners, Stroman was also on the mound for six of the Red Sox's franchise-best nine steals in the contest. Stroman has had two bad outings and one good one through three starts in June, though Sunday marked his first loss since May 9. The right-hander has maintained a 3.08 ERA despite a 1.30 WHIP and 61:38 K:BB over 84.2 innings through 15 starts this season. He's projected for a home start versus Atlanta in his next outing. • Five hits across doubleheader
Correa went 5-for-10 with two home runs and four RBI as the Twins swept Sunday's doubleheader versus the Athletics.

Advice: Correa played a massive role in winning Game 1 -- he opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the first inning and added a solo shot in the fourth. He was steady again in Game 2, though without the same level of power on display. The shortstop has eight multi-hit efforts over his last 11 contests, going a stunning 24-for-47 (.511) in that span. He was hitting .247 the game before the surge started, but he's up to .308 now with an .878 OPS, eight homers, 35 RBI, 34 runs scored and no stolen bases through 54 contests this season. • Dealing with lower-arm injury
Rizzo (arm) suffered a right lower-arm injury in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Red Sox, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Rizzo went down in a heap after a collision with Boston reliever Brennan Bernardino at first base in the top of the seventh inning, suffering an apparent right arm injury. The first baseman will see the team doctors and undergo imaging to determine the severity of the injury in New York on Monday. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:22 pm
