    • Blanks Dodgers in fourth win
Jones (4-5) earned the win Tuesday over the Dodgers, allowing three hits and three walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Advice: It was an impressive return to form for Jones after he gave up a season-high five runs in 4.1 innings in his last start against Detroit. It's the fifth quality start in Jones' last six outings -- his ERA now sits at 3.25 with a 1.01 WHIP 76:15 K:BB across 12 starts (69.1 innings) in his rookie campaign. The 22-year-old Jones is currently lined up for a home matchup with the Twins this weekend in his next start. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 6:27 pm

    • Allows five runs in loss
Brown (1-2) allowed five runs on six hits across five innings to take the loss Sunday against the Reds. He walked one and struck out six.

Advice: Brown actually pitched decently, but he was done in by a three-run home run by TJ Friedl and a lack of run support in the 5-2 loss. The five runs allowed are the rookie's most since he gave up six in his MLB debut back on March 30. Outside of the few hiccups, Brown has been pretty solid, and he's still sitting with a strong 3.33 ERA across 51.1 innings to go along with 61 strikeouts. The righty is penciled in to start again on Saturday against this same Cincinnati squad, though the pending return of Jordan Wicks (forearm) could push Brown out of the rotation after that. • Ben Brown struggles in follow-up to no-hit effort
Ben Brown allowed five runs on six hits in five innings in a loss to the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Brown struck out six and walked one, but he was far more hittable in this one than last week. Brown did post a 32 percent whiff rate and 36 percent CSW on the day, but much of that was on the back of his curveball, which is a strong pitch. His four-seam fastball is less impressive, and Brown threw it 70 percent of the time on Sunday, which is part of the downside of Brown as a two-pitch pitcher. Brown has a 3.33 ERA on the season and has clear strikeout upside, but his limited pitch mix will make him a volatile fantasy asset and with Jordan Wicks set to return from the injured list, there’s no telling how many more starts Brown will make after next week’s start in Cincinnati. • Surrenders five runs Saturday
Greene allowed five runs on three hits and five walks while striking out five batters over six innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Greene was staked to an early 4-0 lead but gave it all back when he served up a grand slam to Seiya Suzuki in the bottom of the second inning. All three runners on base for the big homer had reached via walk, so Greene's wildness played a big part in his poor stat line. This was the second time the right-hander has walked five batters in a contest this season, and his 30 free passes on the campaign are fourth-most in the majors. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:16 pm
    • Cruises to win
Yamamoto (6-2) allowed a run on seven hits and a walk while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win over the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Yamamoto bounced back from a loss his last time out with a strong performance. He's earned quality starts in four of his last six outings, allowing 13 runs over 37 innings in that span. The rookie right-hander has a 3.32 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 76:14 K:BB over 65 innings across 12 starts this season. Yamamoto is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Yankees, which is a formidable matchup. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:54 pm

    • Greene gives up grand slam, five runs vs. Cubs
Hunter Greene allowed five runs in six innings and got a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Greene gave up three hits, walked five and struck out five. He had won two of his previous three starts and hadn’t allowed more than three earned runs in his last six starts. Greene only allowed three hits but one of them was a grand slam off the bat of Seiya Suzuki. His ERA is up to 3.44 on the season now. He’ll get another chance against the Cubs at home next week.

    • Sharp in Friday's no-decision
Berrios came away with a no-decision in Friday's 5-3 extra-innings win over the Pirates, allowing one run on six hits over seven innings. He struck out five without walking a batter.

Advice: The right-hander pounded the zone in his fourth straight quality start and 10th in 12 trips to the mound this season, firing 69 of 101 pitches for strikes. Berrios is tracking toward a career year, and he'll take a 2.78 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 58:18 K:BB through 74.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next week against the Orioles. • Loses to Rockies
Buehler (1-3) allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and four walks while striking out seven over six innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Rockies.

Advice: Buehler gave up three runs in the third inning and a solo home run to Ezequiel Tovar in the fourth. While it wasn't a particularly sharp outing for Buehler, the Dodgers failed to support him with just five hits and two walks. He has two quality starts in five outings since returning from Tommy John surgery. Buehler is at a 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 24:7 K:BB over 25 innings this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Pirates. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:08 pm
    • Walker Buehler gives up three earned in defeat
Walker Buehler allowed four runs — three earned — in a loss Friday to the Rockies.

Advice: Buehler dealt with control issues, as he walked four while throwing 56-of-92 pitches for strikes. The 29-year-old allowed three runs in the third with run-scoring hits by Brendan Rodgers and Kris Bryant, and an inning later he allowed a solo shot to Ezequiel Tovar. It wasn’t a horrific start and Buehler did strike out seven, but a disappointing one considering the opponent. He’ll get the Pirates next week, assuming the rotation doesn’t change.
