Advice: Greene gave up three hits, walked five and struck out five. He had won two of his previous three starts and hadn’t allowed more than three earned runs in his last six starts. Greene only allowed three hits but one of them was a grand slam off the bat of Seiya Suzuki. His ERA is up to 3.44 on the season now. He’ll get another chance against the Cubs at home next week.

Advice: Kim led off the third inning with a triple before coming around to score on a Luis Arraez sacrifice fly. He'd then provide what proved to be the game-deciding hit in the fourth, driving in three runs with a base-clearing double to put the Padres ahead 5-3. Kim's now 4-for-10 with three extra-base hits in his last three games. CJ Abrams has been scratched from the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Guardians due to shoulder soreness.

Advice: It’s worth noting that Abrams remained in during Friday’s contest after jamming his shoulder attempting to make a play defensively. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern, but the Nationals clearly don’t want to take any chances here and are holding him out for precautionary reasons. The 23-year-old emerging star has been in a rut the last few days, going hitless (0-for-14) with eight strikeouts over his last three games. Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters Friday that Trea Turner (hamstring) remains without a definitive timetable to return.

Advice: Turner suffered a minor setback in his recovery from a left hamstring strain earlier this week when he experienced leg soreness following a high-intensity workout. He managed to resume fielding grounders and also did some light jogging prior to Friday’s game against the Cardinals, but doesn’t appear close to running the bases again, which would be his final hurdle prior to a minor league rehab assignment. It’s a frustrating situation for fantasy managers, but the Phillies can’t really afford to rush him back and risk another setback. At this point, a mid-June return seems like a best-case scenario.
