    • Juan Soto crushes go-ahead homer in ninth Sunday
      Juan Soto crushed a go-ahead two-run homer off of Camilo Doval in the ninth inning on Sunday, powering the Yankees to a come-from-behind 7-5 victory over the Giants.

      Advice: The Yankees entered the ninth inning trailing 5-3, but things got tighter in a hurry after a one-out RBI triple off the bat of Anthony Volpe. Two pitches later, Soto uncorked a 398-foot (108.2 mph EV) two-run shot that gave the Yankees a 6-5 lead. The 25-year-old superstar also opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 430-foot (108.7 mph EV) solo shot off of Blake Snell in the top half of the first inning. He finished the day 3-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBI and is now hitting a ridiculous .322/.417/.614 on the season with 17 homers and 53 RBI. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:35 pm

    • Freddy Peralta inconsistent in win over White Sox
      Freddy Peralta allowed three runs on four hits in five innings in a win over the White Sox on Sunday.

      Advice: Peralta was far more good than bad, striking out seven and walking one while allowing an 88.3 mph average exit velocity. He induced 21 whiffs on 56 swings for a 38 percent whiff rate and 32 percent CSW. However, he allowed three hits and a walk in the first inning and then a home run later to Paul DeJong to put a damper on his day.     • Charlie Morton effective but wild in no-decision
      Charlie Morton held the Athletics scoreless over six innings on Sunday. He allowed just one hit along with five walks and six strikeouts in a no-decision.

      Advice: Poor command pushed Morton’s pitch count up in what was otherwise a fantastic outing. This was the sixth straight start in which Morton decreased the usage of his fastball and Sunday marked a season-low at 15%. In turn, he turned to more changeups which the Athletics couldn’t square up, but Morton also struggled to find the zone with it at times.     • Report: Royce Lewis likely back off IL Tuesday
      Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports that Royce Lewis (quad) is likely to be activated off the injured list Tuesday.

      Advice: Lewis is going to play third base Sunday during his rehab assignment for Triple-A St. Paul. The 24-year-old will then have a chance to return to the Minnesota lineup as long as everything goes well in that outing. Lewis has significant fantasy upside, and if he’s still on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues, he’s well worth roster consideration.     • Jose Altuve gets Sunday off against Twins
      Jose Altuve is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Twins.

      Advice: Altuve will get a rare day off for the series finale against the Twins. He’ll take a seat with Mauricio Dubon hitting sixth and playing second base.       The Twins are expected to reinstate Lewis (quadricep) from the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener versus the Yankees, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Lewis has been on the shelf since suffering a right quad strain in the Twins' March 28 season opener, but the standout infielder looks to be on the cusp of rejoining the big club. He began a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul on May 25 and has thus far made five starts in the minors, going 3-for-19 with a double, a stolen base and two runs. According to Park, Lewis is scheduled to start at third base for St. Paul in Sunday's game against Rochester, and if all goes well, the 24-year-old should get the green light to return from the IL.       Greene allowed five runs on three hits and five walks while striking out five batters over six innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

      Advice: Greene was staked to an early 4-0 lead but gave it all back when he served up a grand slam to Seiya Suzuki in the bottom of the second inning. All three runners on base for the big homer had reached via walk, so Greene's wildness played a big part in his poor stat line. This was the second time the right-hander has walked five batters in a contest this season, and his 30 free passes on the campaign are fourth-most in the majors.
