    Advice: Conforto jumped on a hanging four-seamer from Peter Lambert to lead off the second inning and crushed it over the wall in right field to open a six-run rally for San Francisco. The outfielder would later add a single in the same frame before finishing the contest with his third three-hit performance of the season. Conforto has now hit safely in four of his last five games, while the home run was his first since April 22.     Schuemann went 3-for-7 with a double, two walks and two runs during Wednesday's doubleheader against the Rangers.

    Advice: Schuemann did the majority of his damage in the nightcap, when he got on base thrice via a pair of singles and a walk and came around to score twice. The rookie has now reached safely in five consecutive games, a stretch during which he 's lifted his batting average and on-base percentage to .216 and .348, respectively. Rooker has hit safely in six of the last seven games, batting .462 (12-for-26) with three doubles, four long balls, 10 runs, 11 RBI and a strong 5:5 BB:K. The 26-year-old infielder has been productive of late, slashing .297/.422/.541 over the last 12 games with a homer, five RBI and nine runs, but his 6:14 BB:K during that stretch -- not to mention his .373 BABIP on the season -- suggests regression is coming for his batting average. Conforto added a base hit later in the same inning, then drew a walk and scored in the seventh.
