    • Abrams scratched again Sunday against Guardians
CJ Abrams was scratched from Sunday’s lineup against the Guardians due to illness.

Advice: Never mind. Abrams was scratched Saturday due to illness, and the infielder was back in the lineup Sunday originally only to have the same thing occur. The infielder should be considered day-to-day. Ildemaro Vargas is starting at shortstop in his place. Rotoworld Today, 9:54 am

    • Scratched again Sunday
Abrams (shoulder) was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Guardians, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Abrams was penciled in to start at shortstop and bat leadoff but has instead been scratched for the second straight game due to a jammed left shoulder. The 23-year-old should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener versus the Mets. Ildemaro Vargas will start at shortstop Sunday in place of Abrams. Rotowire.com Today, 9:49 am

    • CJ Abrams (illness) back in lineup Sunday vs. CLE
CJ Abrams (illness) is back in the starting lineup and hitting leadoff against the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Abrams was a late scratch from the lineup for Saturday’s tilt with Cleveland because of illness, but it was deemed precautionary, and being inserted into the lineup a day later suggests it was just that. Rotoworld Today, 9:07 am

    • Rejoining lineup Sunday
Abrams (shoulder) is starting at shortstop and batting leadoff Sunday against the Guardians, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The 23-year-old jammed his shoulder on a diving play Friday and was scratched from Saturday's lineup, but he's back in the starting nine for Sunday's series finale in Cleveland. Abrams is in a bit of a funk at the plate, as he's gone 0-for-14 with eight strikeouts over his past three contests. Rotowire.com Today, 8:55 am

    • Requires another rehab start
Miller (shoulder) is scheduled for a rehab start Friday with Triple-A Oklahoma City after he allowed four runs on five hits and a walk over 3.1 innings Saturday for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, Eric Stephen of SBNation.comreports.

Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Miller experienced some reduced velocity, but it doesn't appear to be injury related. The right-hander threw 65 pitches and will continue building up his workload to about five innings as he moves up to the Triple-A level. An additional start after that hasn't been ruled out, but Miller could rejoin the Dodgers if Friday's outing goes to plan. Rotowire.com Today, 6:25 am

    • Powers offense with two homers
Mountcastle went 2-for-3 with a walk, two home runs, four RBI and a third run scored in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Rays.

Advice: The O's launched four homers in total off Taj Bradley, and Mountcastle bookended the barrage with long balls in the first and fourth innings. The power display snapped a 17-game homer drought for the 27-year-old, but Mountcastle hasn't been slumping -- over his last 10 games he's batting .459 (17-for-37) with five doubles and five multi-hit performances. That surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .293/.333/.505 with eight home runs and 24 RBI in 51 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 4:39 am
    • Handling low-leverage role well
Smith has allowed two runs over nine innings since the start of May.

Advice: Smith doesn't have the best control, having allowed six hits and three walks with just five strikeouts in that span. He's also picked up two of his four holds in that stretch, though manager Matt Quatraro has mostly kept Smith out of high-leverage situations since early April. The left-hander's season-long numbers remain poor (6.38 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, 12:8 K:BB), but he's been less volatile recently. With James McArthur, John Schreiber and Chris Stratton all pitching at a mediocre level in May, there could eventually be a path to high-leverage chances for Smith if he can keep performing well. • Launches 14th homer
Harper went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Harper provided the Phillies with extra breathing room, taking St. Louis reliever John King deep in the seventh inning. Over the previous 10 games, Harper took a small step back, batting .257 (9-for-35) with three home runs and seven RBI to close out May. Following his second consecutive multi-hit game, he's batting .276/.381/.538 with 14 homers, 44 RBI, 35 runs scored and three stolen bases over 54 contests this season. • Bohm drives in two against Cardinals Saturday
Alec Bohm went 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and two RBI against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Bohm started the scoring with a two-run double off Sonny Gray in the first inning. He only has five home runs on the season, but he’s hitting .311 with 49 RBI in 58 games. Bohm is a mainstay in the middle of the order for the Phillies now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:14 pm
