    • Kenley Jansen locks down four-out save on Saturday
Kenley Jansen picked up his 11th save of the season on Saturday night, recording the final four outs against the Yankees.

Advice: Jansen came on to put out a fire in the eighth inning with two men on and two outs with the Red Sox clinging to a two-run advantage. He got Anthony Volpe to fly out to right field to end the threat — then returned to work a perfect ninth inning to close it out. On the season, Jansen now holds a 2.74 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and a 30/11 K/BB ratio (23 innings) to go along with a pair of saves and two victories. Rotoworld 38 minutes ago

    • Cooper Criswell strikes out six in no-decision
Cooper Criswell pitched decently in a no-decision against the Yankees on Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits over four frames against the Yankees.

Advice: On the plus side, the 27-year-old right-hander punched out six batters on the night while allowing two free passes. All of the damage done against him came in the second inning on a two-run single off the bat of DJ LeMahieu. Criswell got nine whiffs on 88 pitches on the night, registering a strong CSW of 33 percent. He’ll carry a 4.15 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 49/13 K/BB ratio (52 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Reds in Cincinnati. Rotoworld 38 minutes ago

    • Secures save Saturday
Megill notched a save against the Reds on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk in one inning.

Advice: A trio of Milwaukee pitchers combined to shut out Cincinnati over eight innings before the ball was handed to Megill for the ninth. The right-hander didn't make things easy, issuing a walk and a run-scoring double before getting his first out, but he was ultimately able to slam the door for the save. Megill has been great in his first venture as a closer this season, going 12-for-13 in save tries while posting a 2.25 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB over 20 innings. He appears to have a firm grasp on ninth-inning duties for the Brewers, at least until Devin Williams (back) is able to return from the injured list, potentially in the latter half of July. • Juan Soto blasts 18th homer in loss on Saturday
Juan Soto blasted his 18th home run of the season on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough to power the Yankees past the Red Sox in Boston.

Advice: Soto victimized Justin Slaten for his 392-foot (105.1 mph EV) solo shot in the seventh inning that pulled the Bombers to within two runs at 5-3. He also drew a pair of walks in the contest, finishing the evening 1-for-3 officially. The 25-year-old superstar has been a monster in his first season with the Yankees — slashing .319/.435/.599 with the aforementioned 18 long balls and 55 RBI. Rotoworld 38 minutes ago

    • Carlos Rodon gives up five runs in loss to Red Sox
Carlos Rodon struggled in Saturday night’s loss to the Red Sox, surrendering five runs on seven hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 31-year-old southpaw still managed to punch out seven batters on the evening while issuing three free passes. The Red Sox jumped on him in the opening inning, using run-scoring knocks from Tyler O’Neill, Connor Wong and Jaime Westbrook to push three runs across. They added another pair in the second on a two-run double by Rafael Devers. Rodon generated 18 swings and misses on 109 pitches on the night — eight of those on his fastball — while posting a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he totes an impressive 3.28 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and an 81/23 K/B ratio (85 innings) into a tough matchup against the Braves on Saturday. Rotoworld 39 minutes ago

    • Bryse Wilson effective as follower in win
Bryse Wilson threw 5 1/3 innings as a bulk reliever in a win over the Reds on Saturday, striking out six and walking two.

Advice: Wilson didn’t miss many bats with just five whiffs on 33 swings for a 15 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW. He didn’t allow an extra-base hit on the day and now carries a 3.84 ERA into a game against the Padres next week. He’ll be more interesting in fantasy leagues if he continues to operate as a bulk reliever, but he’ll still be tough to trust against in that one. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago

    • Earns victory in bulk-relief role
Wilson (4-3) earned the win over Cincinnati on Saturday, pitching 5.1 scoreless innings during which he allowed three hits and two walks while striking out six batters.

Advice: Milwaukee opted to have Jared Koenig open the contest, and he notched two outs before Wilson entered with a runner on first base in the first inning. The right-hander closed that frame successfully, then kept the Reds off the scoreboard for five more innings before turning the game over to the bullpen. Wilson's excellent outing earned him his first victory since May 24. After opening the campaign in the bullpen, Wilson has been bouncing between a traditional starting role and bulk relief lately, and in either capacity he's pitched pretty well, giving up three or fewer earned runs in all but one of his 17 appearances -- including 10 that have been of four or more innings -- this season. • Homers in win
O'Hoppe went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 4-3 win over the Giants on Saturday.

Advice: O'Hoppe singled in the fourth inning then tied the game with a two-run home run off Keaton Winn in the sixth. O'Hoppe has gone 15-for-29 during an eight-game hit streak and now has an extra-base hit in six straight contests. On the season, O'Hoppe is slashing .284/.335/.476 with nine home runs and 31 RBI in 225 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 45 minutes ago
    • Andrew Abbott takes loss against Brewers
Andrew Abbott allowed three runs on four hits in five innings in a loss to the Brewers on Saturday.

Advice: It wasn’t a poor performance for the left-hander, who walked three and struck out three on the day. As is typical, Abbott didn’t get many whiffs, with just six whiffs on 43 swings for a 14 percent whiff rate and 22 percent CSW. However, he also didn’t allow much hard contact with just an 82.3 mph average exit velocity allowed. He’ll take a 3.42 ERA into a game against the Red Sox next week, and his lack of strikeouts always makes him a bit risky for fantasy. Rotoworld 45 minutes ago
