    Advice: White will head to Double-A Somerset as extra relief depth for New York after being jettisoned from Tampa Bay’s 40-man roster earlier this week. The 30-year-old has driven in just 12 runs over 36 games in 2024, and the homer is the fourth of the year. Better things should be ahead for Candelario in the coming months, if not sooner.     Corbin Carroll knocked in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning Thursday to help the D-Backs to a 5-4 win over the Reds.

    Advice: In what has been a very disappointing season for Carroll, the 23-year-old came up big Thursday with an RBI single to score Tucker Barnhart that broke a 4-4 tie and ultimately gave Arizona the victory. The 23-year-old was one of the best fantasy players regardless of age, and while his .206/.300/.270 slash is anything but ideal, there’s obvious reasons to believe he’ll bounce back considerably in the summer months.     Advice: Rocchio hit second for the Guardians in a game a week ago, but this is just the second time all season that hasn't been in the No. 9 spot for the Guardians in a game he started. The 24-year-old righty did not give up a run through 11.1 innings during his three rehab starts at Triple-A Tacoma, and he managed to strikeout 17 batters while walking none.
