    • Collects third win
Littell (3-5) earned the win Tuesday against the Royals, throwing five shutout innings while giving up four hits and striking out four batters.

Advice: Littell was remarkably efficient Tuesday, needing only 68 pitches to get through five innings. Had it not been for a two-plus-hour rain delay, the 28-year-old righty almost certainly would have made it deeper into the game. Nonetheless, Tampa Bay's offense provided just enough run support before his removal for him to record his first win since May 11. Littell will now carry a 3.94 ERA and 1.32 WHIP into his next start against the Rangers over the weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 12:35 am
    • Goes seven innings
Manaea didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Washington, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks across seven innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Although Manaea wasn't rewarded with the win, Tuesday's start marked his first time going deeper than six innings this season and was his third straight outing without surrendering a home run. The southpaw owns a 3.67 ERA across 83.1 innings, which would be his best since 2019, and has allowed only five earned runs in his last 22.2 innings pitched. Manaea is on track to start against the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:47 pm

    • Swats extra-inning homer
Alonso went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Nationals in 10 innings.

Advice: Alonso capped off the Mets' five-run 10th inning with a two-run blast off Robert Garcia, the first baseman's 18th home run of the campaign. He's riding a six-game hit streak, batting 8-for-24 (.333) with six runs and five RBI during that span. Alonso owns an .810 OPS with a 20.3 percent strikeout rate on the season, and the former is actually the lowest figure of his career in that category. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:46 pm

    • Zach Littell defeats Royals to earn third victory
Zach Littell picked up his third victory of the season on Tuesday evening, scattering four hits over five shutout innings against the Royals.

Advice: Littell punched out four batters on the night and didn’t walk a batter. He needed just 68 pitches (49 strikes) to get through five frames — and he would’ve likely worked deeper into the game had it not been for a lengthy rain delay after the fifth inning. The 28-year-old righty got eight whiffs on the night, registering a strong CSW of 34 percent. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling as he brings a 3.94 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and an 86/16 K/BB ratio (91 1/3 innings) into Sunday’s matchup against the Rangers in Arlington. • Fills stat sheet in loss
Robert went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and a stolen base in a 7-6 loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Robert hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and added a two-run single and stolen base in the seventh. The outfielder has tallied seven hits and three home runs during a modest five-game hit streak and has hit safely in eight of his past ten contests. On the season, he is hitting a disappointing .215 but does have 10 home runs and four steals over 133 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:11 pm
    • Hits grand slam in win
Gorman went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in a 7-4 win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: Gorman hit a grand slam in the fourth inning and added a single in the sixth. He was mired in a 2-for-29 slump but opened July with his first home run since June 19 and first multi-hit effort since June 4. On the season, the second baseman owns a disappointing .192 average but is currently tied with Ketel Marte for tops at the position with 17 home runs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:05 pm

    • Manaea allows one run in no decision
Sean Manaea allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits in seven innings in a no-decision against the Nationals.

Advice: Manaea struck out five and walked two on the day to lower his ERA to 3.67. While the surface-level stats are good, Manaea got just nine whiffs on 47 swings for a 19 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW. He filled up the strike zone with his sinker but struggled to throw his other pitches in the zone with each of them getting under a 50 percent zone rate. You can’t argue the results, but there doesn’t seem to be much in the arsenal that suggests Manaea is a much different pitcher this season; however, he could be a solid streamer against the Pirates this weekend. • Gorman homers, drives in four in win
Nolan Gorman went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in a win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: Gorman’s home run was a 415-foot shot for his 17th of the season to go along with 41 RBIs. However, he also struck out twice and came into today with a 36.5 percent strikeout rate. In his last 35 games, Gorman is hitting just .177/.241/.411 with a 36.5 percent strikeout rate. However, he also has 10 home runs and five steals over that span, so if you are not in a batting average league or are punting the category, you can likely still roster Gorman. • Luis Robert Jr. has two hits, HR, SB in loss
Luis Robert Jr. went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a stolen base in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Robert drove in two runs on a 363-foot home run in the sixth inning and then knocked in two more on a game-tying single in the seventh. He’s now up to 10 home runs on the season but just 18 RBIs in a depleted White Sox lineup. He also has four steals to add to his five-category fantasy upside. On the other hand, he also didn’t even attempt to throw out the winning run at home on a routine fly ball to center field in the ninth inning, so it’s fair to wonder how motivated he might be on a White Sox team going nowhere with rumors of trades swirling. Perhaps the best thing for all, and also his fantasy value, is if Robert Jr. gets traded at the deadline which could unlock yet another level of fantasy goodness. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:26 pm
