    • Earns 15th save
Foley earned a save in Wednesday's win over the Guardians, walking one and recording the final two outs in the ninth inning.

Advice: Foley was summoned to protect a 5-4 lead with one out in the ninth inning and stranded a runner on third to secure his 15th save in 17 attempts. It was a gutsy effort, as he entered Wednesday having yielded four earned runs over his previous four appearances. On the season, the 28-year-old owns a 3.41 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 24:10 K:BB over 31.2 innings. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago
    • Jason Foley slams door on Guardians on Wednesday
Jason Foley slammed the door on the Guardians on Wednesday evening, preserving a two-run advantage to earn his 15th save of the season.

Advice: Alex Faedo started the ninth inning with a two-run advantage, but he allowed run and had the tying run at third base with only one out when manager A.J. Hinch turned to Foley. The 28-year-old right-hander got Tyler Freeman to bounce to first baseman Gio Urshela who cut down the potential tying run at the plate. After an intentional walk and a wild pitch put two runners back in scoring position, Foley got Austin Hedges to ground out to short to end it. Foley now sports a 3.41 ERA to go with 15 saves in 17 chances on the season. Rotoworld 46 minutes ago
    • Sent out to minors
The Dodgers optioned Miller to the minors Wednesday.

Advice: The team didn't specifically relay that Miller will be headed to Triple-A Oklahoma City, as the right-hander could instead be headed to the Dodgers' facility in Arizona to work on some mechanical adjustments. His demotion comes after he was lit up for nine earned runs in four innings in Tuesday's loss to the Phillies, bringing his ERA up to 9.87 over his four starts since he returned to the rotation June 19 following a two-plus-month stay on the injured list due to shoulder inflammation. The Dodgers will need a replacement in the rotation for Miller in Sunday's game in Detroit, but the right-hander might be a candidate to rejoin the big club shortly after the All-Star break. The possibility exists, however, that the Dodgers will have Miller spend some extended time in the minors to iron out the kinks, as the team should get some reinforcements to its rotation after the break that may lessen the need to bring back the struggling right-hander. Tyler Glasnow (back) and Walker Buehler (hip) could both be ready to return from the IL immediately after the break, while Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) is in the midst of a rehab assignment and could be ready to come off the 60-day IL by the end of July or the first week of August. • Dodgers send down struggling Bobby Miller
      Dodgers optioned RHP Bobby Miller.

Advice: No team designation was given, so the Dodgers might be sending him somewhere other than Triple-A to work on things for a bit. It’s possible this will just be a 15-day stint, but it’s probably going to be a little longer. Miller had been effective in just one of his four starts since coming off the injured list. He had a 9.87 ERA and a 9/12 K/BB ratio over 17 1/3 innings between the four outings. Miller had been scheduled to start Sunday, but that might now be a bullpen game. • Not in Wednesday's lineup
Caballero is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: Caballero had started five of the previous six contests, but he will begin Wednesday's contest on the bench. Taylor Walls and Richie Palacios will form the Rays' double-play combination Wednesday. Rotowire.com Today, 11:56 am

    • Swiping bags efficiently
Arozarena went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run scored and a stolen base Tuesday against the Yankees.

Advice: Arozarena has struggled significantly for long stretches this season and has a .202 average and a .674 OPS across 359 plate appearances. Since June 1, however, he's hit .286 with an .868 OPS in 32 games. Arozarena's ability to get on base has also translated to more stolen bases, as he's swiped five bags in six tries in his last 17 games. Rotowire.com Today, 7:53 am
    • Goes yard twice in loss
Doyle went 3-for-4 with walk, a double and two solo home runs in Tuesday's 12-6 loss to the Reds.

Advice: The 26-year-old has been an absolute beast since slumping to a .223/.245/.298 slash line in June. Through eight games in July, Doyle has five multi-hit performances, five doubles, six homers and 11 RBI while batting .556 (15-for-27). The surge has boosted his OPS on the season to .813, and with 13 homers and 20 steals through 87 games, Doyle has a shot at becoming the first Rockie to post a 30-30 season since Hall of Famer Larry Walker accomplished the feat in 1997. • Brenton Doyle smacks two more homers
Brenton Doyle went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs, a double, and a walk on Tuesday against the Reds.

Advice: Doyle has been on fire. The two long balls give him six already in July and he’s been one of the standout performers over the past month of the season. He has a .300/.350/.564 slash line over his last 30 games with eight homers, six steals, and 22 RBI. The defensive standout has done well to be more patient and do significantly more damage on pitches inside the strike zone so far this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:12 pm

    • Allows two homers in win
Blanco (9-3) allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out seven over seven innings to earn the win over the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: Blanco gave up multiple home runs for the second time in three starts, but he got away with it since both were solo shots. He's allowed more than two runs just once over his last six outings, turning in a quality start in four of them. The 30-year-old continues to enjoy a breakout season with a 2.53 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 95:40 K:BB across 103 innings through 17 starts. Blanco could make one more start before the All-Star break, a turn tentatively projected to be at home versus the Rangers on Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:09 pm
