    • Rhys Hoskins leads Brewers past Rockies on Tuesday
Rhys Hoskins drew a go-ahead bases-loaded walk with two outs in the ninth inning on Tuesday night, leading the Brewers to a 4-3 victory over the Rockies.

Advice: Hoskins entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Jake Bauers in the eighth inning where he went down on strikes. He atoned for that failure in the ninth inning though, working a walk off of Justin Lawrence to drive in the go-ahead run. On the season, the 31-year-old slugger is hitting .224/.318/.404 with 11 homers, 38 RBI and a pair of stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:14 pm

    • Cease allows six earned, two homers vs. Rangers
Dylan Cease allowed eight hits and six earned runs over 3 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Cease had an up-and-down first inning. While he recorded all three of his outs via the strikeout, he allowed two hits, with the second coming on a two-run homer by Nathaniel Lowe to give the Rangers an early lead. It would only get worse from there, as Cease would give up another two-run bomb to Lowe in the third inning and was pulled in the fourth inning shortly after allowing a sixth run off a Marcus Semien single. It’s been a rough stretch for Cease, who has allowed 17 earned runs over his last 19 innings while striking out 29 batters and walking nine. Cease will look to bounce back in his next outing, which is set for Sunday against the Diamondbacks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:32 pm
    • Austin Riley homers again in loss to Giants
Austin Riley went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Giants.

Advice: Riley got the scoring started for the Braves in the second inning when he took Hayden Birdsong 415 feet to left for a solo homer. The home run was Riley’s 10th blast of the season and his third in his last 10 games. The veteran third baseman has gotten off to a slow start this season after three straight 30-plus homer seasons but has now hit safely in six of his last eight games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:24 pm
    • Nimmo has two hits, two RBI off bench
Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-3 with two RBIs after coming off the bench in a win over the Nationals on Tuesday.

Advice: Nimmo didn’t start the game after nursing a head injury when he fell in his hotel room on Sunday night and cut his head. However, he certainly seems to be healthy, knocking in a run on a single in the eighth to tie the game and then giving the Mets a two-run cushion in the 10th inning with an RBI double. Over the last six weeks, Nimmo is hitting .283/.377/.496 with six home runs, 27 runs scored, 21 RBI, and three steals in 33 games. He remains underrated in fantasy baseball. • Absent from lineup
Hoskins isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: After recording a base hit in 10 of his last 11 games, Hoskins went 0-for-4 with a sacrifice fly during Monday's loss in the series opener. He'll now sit against Ryan Feltner and the Rockies on Tuesday, putting Jake Bauers at first base while Christian Yelich serves as the Brewers' DH, opening a spot in left field for Jackson Chourio. • Josh Jung still dealing with right wrist soreness
Josh Jung is day-to-day with soreness in his surgically-repaired right wrist.

Advice: Jung told reporters Tuesday that he hasn’t swung a bat since his last minor league rehab contest back in mid-June and they’re taking things day-by-day at the moment. The 26-year-old third baseman doesn’t appear close to rejoining the Rangers’ lineup at this point and it’s unclear when he’ll be ready to return to game action. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:43 pm

    • Brandon Nimmo remains absent from Tuesday’s lineup
Brandon Nimmo (head) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Nationals.

Advice: The positive news here is that Nimmo is merely dealing with a forehead laceration that he suffered on Sunday night when he fell in his hotel room. The 31-year-old outfielder, who boasts a .291 (34-for-117) average with six homers and two steals over his last 30 games, will sit out a second straight contest on Tuesday evening, but it doesn’t appear that he’s facing a lengthy absence. It’ll be Jeff McNeil in left field once again in his place. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:33 pm

    • Still not swinging bat
Jung (wrist) has not been cleared to swing a bat, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Jung has not swung a bat since his last rehab game on June 20 and admitted Tuesday that his surgically repaired right wrist remains sore. A specialist has confirmed that nothing is structurally wrong with the wrist, but the lingering discomfort is worrisome. There's no timetable for Jung's return. • Still out of lineup
Nimmo (forehead) is absent from the starting lineup Tuesday against Washington.

Advice: Nimmo sustained a cut on his forehead Sunday night after falling in his hotel room. While he cleared concussion testing, he'll be held out of the lineup for a second straight night. Jeff McNeil will bat ninth and fill left field. Per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, Nimmo will likely available off the bench Tuesday and expects to be back in the lineup Wednesday.
