      Advice: The 26-year-old sat out Monday after being hit by a pitch in the left elbow Sunday, but X-rays came back negative and he's back in the lineup Tuesday.       Senga (shoulder/tricep) is scheduled to throw his next live batting practice session later this week, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: While facing hitters Sunday in Port St. Lucie, Fla. for the first time since early May, Senga tossed 22 pitches. He's scheduled to rejoin the Mets in New York this week, and assuming his arm responded well to Sunday's workout, he'll throw another live BP within the next few days. Senga was placed on the injured list coming out of spring training with a shoulder capsule strain and advanced to mound work in late April before having his throwing program shut down when he experienced tricep tightness and nerve inflammation.     • Yet to resume throwing
      Astros manager Joe Espada said Tuesday that Verlander (neck) has yet to resume throwing, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Verlander has been shut down for more than a week with neck discomfort and continues to progress more slowly than expected. The veteran right-hander is eligible for activation from the 15-day injured list Monday, but it's too early at this point to know whether he will be ready to go on that day.     • Justin Verlander (neck) still not ready to throw
      Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters Tuesday that Justin Verlander (neck) is still making slower progress than anticipated.

      Advice: Espada reiterated that this issue isn’t a shoulder, elbow or arm problem; but strictly issues with neck stiffness. The 41-year-old has been on the injured list since the middle of June with the issue, and at this point, it seems unlikely that we see Verlander back until the middle of July — possibly after the All-Star break.       Helsley allowed two runs on two hits and two walks in the ninth inning Monday, striking out two and earning a save against Atlanta.

      Advice: Helsley loaded the bases with just one out but managed to escape with a save in the 4-3 win. It was the second time this month he's allowed multiple runs in an appearance, and the third time in his last 13 outings. Despite the recent shakiness, Helsley has converted 27 consecutive save chances since blowing his first opportunity of the year. He owns a 2.83 ERA and a 42:15 K:BB through 35 innings.     • Robert Jr. has double, two walks in loss Monday
      Luis Robert Jr. went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks against the Dodgers on Monday.

      Advice: Robert Jr. only has 91 at-bats this season, but he’s hitting .198 with a 35 percent strikeout percentage. For one of the most talked about potential trade pieces in baseball, he’s really had a rough season. Robert Jr.'s BABIP is only .217, which is well below his career .328 BABIP, but he still needs to cut his strikeouts. Maybe the two walks show that he’s seeing it better at the plate and he can start to turn his season around with a little more than a month before the trade deadline.       Ryan Helsley allowed two runs and picked up the save against the Braves on Monday.

      Advice: It was an eventful ninth inning in St. Louis. Helsley entered with a 4-1 lead and proceeded to load the bases on two walks and a hit. With one out, Ramon Laureano singled to make it a 4-2 game and Travis d’Arnaud hit a sacrifice fly to bring the Braves within a run. Helsley then struck out Zack Short on a slider to end the ballgame. His ERA is up to 2.83 now, but fantasy managers can’t complain with 27 saves already in the bank. Rotoworld Monday, 7:17 pm

      Bohm went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double, a stolen base and an additional RBI in Monday's win over the Tigers.

      Advice: Bohm got started early Monday, slugging a two-run home run in the opening frame to give the Phillies a 4-0 lead. The 27-year-old wasn't done, recording three more hits including his MLB-leading 28th double of the season.       Alec Bohm went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Monday in the Phillies’ lopsided win over the Tigers.

      Advice: Bohm capped off Philadelphia’s four-run explosion in the opening frame with a two-run shot -- his ninth big fly of the season -- off Tigers starter Casey Mize. He also added an RBI double in the late stages of Monday’s blowout at Comerica Park to finish off an impressive four-hit performance. The 27-year-old corner infielder has been a key contributor in the heart of the Phillies’ lineup this season with the best year of his career so far, batting .313 (92-for-294) with nine homers, 64 RBI and four steals across 76 games.
