    • Hunter Greene fans five in victory over Dodgers
Hunter Greene was terrific in Saturday’s victory over the Dodgers, striking out five batters over six innings of one-run baseball.

Advice: The flame-throwing right-hander scattered five hits and one walk on the night. The lone tally against him scored as Jason Heyward bounced into a double play in the second inning. Greene generated an eye-popping 23 swings and misses on 107 pitches on the night — 11 on his fastball, eight on his slider and four on his splitter — while registering a CSW of 29 percent. Now 3-2 on the season, the 24-year-old hurler will carry a 3.06 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and a 71/25 K/BB ratio (64 2/3 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Cubs in Chicago. • Lasts just 4.2 innings
Lopez (2-2) took the loss Saturday in Pittsburgh, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk over just 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

Advice: It's the right-hander's shortest outing of the season and also the fewest pitches (70) he's thrown in a start this year. Lopez did labor a bit in the third and fourth frames, and Atlanta manager Brian Snitker elected to pull his starter after he yielded a two-out single in the fifth. The righty hasn't won a game since April 16 even as he still holds a 2.43 ERA over that stretch. Rotowire.com Today, 5:57 pm

    • Reynaldo López gives up three over 4 2/3 vs. Pirates
Reynaldo López went 4 2/3 innings and gave up three runs — two earned — in a start Saturday against the Pirates.

Advice: Lopez gave up five hits with one walk while striking out three. The right-hander allowed an RBI single in the third, and two more runs scored on a Nick Gonzales double. Even with a shaky outing, the 30-year-old still has a sensational 1.75 ERA on the season. He’s scheduled to fact the Nationals at home Thursday. Rotoworld Today, 4:42 pm

    • Anthony Santander launches two-run homer in win
Anthony Santander went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk to put the Orioles ahead in Saturday’s 5-3 win over the White Sox.

Advice: After drawing a walk to lead off the seventh inning, Santander took Michael Kopech deep for a two-run blast in the eighth to give the Orioles a one-run lead. It was his second homer in three games. Though, he’s collected only three hits in his last seven. The 29-year-old slugger is hitting .205/.284/.432 with nine homers and 29 RBI across 197 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 2:27 pm

    • Report: Nathan Eovaldi unlikely to return Sunday
Jeff Wilson of Rangers Today reports Nathan Eovaldi (groin) is unlikely to return this weekend.

Advice: Eovaldi is progressing towards a return from the injured list, but it doesn’t sound like he’ll return this weekend, as the Rangers are most likely going to roll with a bullpen game for Sunday’s series finale against the Twins. There should be some additional clarity on his return timetable at some point this weekend. Rotoworld Today, 6:55 am

    • Sharp in eighth win
Lugo (8-1) picked up the win Friday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over seven innings in an 8-1 victory over the Rays. He struck out three.

Advice: The veteran right-hander was stingy once again, giving up two earned runs or fewer for the sixth straight start despite a lack of dominance Friday (only eight swinging strikes among his 104 pitches). Lugo has gone 5-0 over that aforementioned six-start stretch with a 1.52 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 47:8 K:BB through 41.1 innings, and he'll look to keep rolling in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come on the road next week in Minnesota. • Picks up 11th save
Foley set down the lone batter he faced to pick up the save in Friday's 6-2 win over Toronto.

Advice: Andrew Chafin recorded the first two outs in the ninth inning before allowing four consecutive base hits, allowing the Blue Jays to get the tying run to the plate. However, Foley would come on in relief to set down Danny Jansen for the final out, earning his 11th save this season. Foley's ERA is down to 2.41 on the year with a 1.34 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB across 18.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:57 pm

    • William Conteras goes 2-for-4, hits two-run homer
William Contreras went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk as the Brewers bested the Red Sox 7-2 on Friday.

Advice: Contreras has been the NL’s third-best player to date — and top non-Dodger — while batting .337/.412/.538. If this keeps up, he ought to be treated better in the MVP balloting this time around. There was an argument for him as the NL’s fifth-best player last year, but he wound up 11th in the MVP balloting then. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:47 pm

    • Records seventh save
Hader struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 6-3 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Hader has not allowed a hit over his last five appearances spanning seven innings, and he has a 12:2 K:BB with three saves and two wins in that span. The Astros are trending upward as well, which has given Hader more consistent work. The southpaw is at a 3.91 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 37:9 K:BB over 23 innings while converting seven of eight save chances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:00 pm
