    • Bibee picks up seventh win against Royals Saturday
Tanner Bibee allowed two runs in six innings and got the win in the Guardians’ 7-2 victory over the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Bibee gave up four hits, walked none and struck out three. The win was his seventh of the season and third in a row. It wasn’t a big strikeout game for Bibee, just another solid outing. He has a 3.47 ERA and 3.29 xFIP on the year. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Giants at home next week.

    • Civale solid in loss to Nationals Saturday
Aaron Civale allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Civale gave up six hits, walked four and struck out two. CJ Abrams homered to start the game, but Civale was pretty solid after that. He’s actually been quite a bit better than his 5.07 ERA on the season suggests given his 4.06 xFIP. Civale could be a decent buy low candidate. The 29-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rangers on the road next week.

    • Ankle injury not considered serious
Manager Oliver Marmol said Saturday that Edman (wrist) was able to field grounders again Friday without any problems with his sprained ankle, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: Marmol added that Edman remains on track to begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Springfield or Triple-A Memphis sometime next week, barring any setbacks. The 29-year-old infielder has spent all season on the injured list, so an extended stint in the minors will likely be necessary, though it's still possible he'll be able to rejoin the big-league club before the All-Star break. • Tommy Edman (wrist, ankle) nears rehab assignment
Tommy Edman (wrist, ankle) is expected to progress to a minor league rehab assignment at some point next week.

Advice: Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol told reporters Edman fielded grounders on Friday without any ankle issues, and will progress to a rehab assignment with either Double-A Springfield or Triple-A Memphis in the coming days, assuming he gets through the rest of the weekend without a setback. The 29-year-old center fielder is working his way back from offseason wrist surgery and figures to be ready to return at some point in July. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:35 am

    • Sitting Saturday
Jimenez is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: Jimenez will begin Saturday's contest in the dugout after starting in the last two games, going 1-for-6 with one walk. It's a planned off day for Jimenez, who is still working his way back from a left hamstring strain. Gavin Sheets (heel) will serve as the designated hitter and bat in the cleanup spot against Colorado right-hander Cal Quantrill. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:16 am
    • Smacks homer in loss
Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 10-3 loss to the Royals.

Advice: Ramirez is up to six homers and 16 RBI over 21 contests in June while hitting .294 (25-for-85) for the month. The third baseman opened the scoring Friday, but the Royals poured on seven runs before the Guardians had a response. Overall, Ramirez continues to provide elite all-around production with 22 homers, 73 RBI, 62 runs scored, 15 stolen bases and a .278/.332/.547 slash line through 77 contests. • Fills box score in win
Langeliers went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 9-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Langeliers entered Friday 0-for-12 with five strikeouts over his last three games. After striking out in his first at-bat, he snapped the slump with an RBI single in the third inning and added a solo shot in the ninth. The catcher is up to a .205/.259/.439 slash line with 15 homers, 41 RBI, 26 runs scored and three stolen bases over 266 plate appearances this season, with three of his homers and 12 of his RBI coming over 20 contests in June. • Shea Langeliers homers, steals bag in victory
Shea Langeliers homered and stole a base in the Athletics’ 9-4 win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Advice: Langeliers isn’t exactly known for his speed, but he was able to procure his third steal of the season. The power is a little more readily apparent, and he hit one of three homers in the ninth inning for the A’s to give him 15 on the year and Oakland an 8-4 lead. Langeliers will never be a big helper in the average category, but there just might be enough run-production to make him a starting fantasy catcher someday. Rotoworld Friday, 10:19 pm
    • Secures 16th save
Estevez threw a perfect ninth inning to earn a save over Detroit on Friday.

Advice: Estevez needed only nine pitches to sit down the heart of the Tigers' lineup in order. He's up to 16 saves on the year and has converted 10 straight chances. Since blowing his last save May 10, Estevez has given up just one earned run over 14.1 innings. He's lowered his season ERA to 3.12 with an impressive 27:3 K:BB through 26 appearances.
