    • Andy Pages swats seventh homer in loss to Rangers
Andy Pages connected on a solo homer in a loss to the Rangers for the Dodgers on Thursday.

Advice: Pages took Michael Lorenzen deep for the Dodgers only run of the game. That gives Pages seven homers and 20 RBI, and the roundtripper along with a single sees the slash go up to .270/.320/.427. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:09 pm

    • Drives in two in loss
Cruz went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: The 25-year-old shortstop tied up the game with a two-run single off Lance Lynn in the fifth inning, but that finished the scoring for Pittsburgh. Cruz now has eight RBI over his last seven games, and his batting average in June is a solid .286. He will carry a .248/.300/.432 slash line with nine home runs and 28 RBI into a weekend series at Colorado. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:01 pm

    • Cole Irvin strikes out eight in loss to Braves
Cole Irvin yielded four runs — three earned — in 5 2/3 innings Thursday in a loss to the Braves.

Advice: Irvin struck out a season-high eight and walked just one, but he again lacked hit luck today. He’s given up 25 hits over 17 2/3 innings in his last three starts. In his seven previous outings, he allowed a total of 26 hits in 36 innings. He’s still looking pretty solid regardless; he hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in an outing since Apr. 10. The loss today leaves him 6-3 with a 3.03 ERA. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:01 pm

    • Early woes mars outing
Irvin (6-3) suffered the loss Thursday, allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits and a walk over 5.2 innings against Atlanta. He struck out eight.

Advice: Irvin allowed hits to the first three batters in the game, including back-to-back doubles that immediately put the Orioles into a two-run hole. He was able to piece things together thereafter, only allowing one more earned run and striking out a season-high eight batters through 5.2 innings to keep the O's in the game, though they were never able to climb out of that deficit. It's the third-straight game has allowed eight or more hits, though it's just the second time in his last 11 outings he's allowed as many as three earned runs, raising his ERA to 3.03 through 68.1 innings. He's next slated to take the hill early next week when the Orioles travel to New York for an early-week showdown against the first place Yankees. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:35 pm

    • Homers off bench Wednesday
Cowser hit a two-run home run in his lone at-bat in Wednesday's 4-2 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Cowser entered the game as a defensive replacement for Ryan O'Hearn in the top of the eighth inning, and he was able to make some noise on offense with his go-ahead blast a half-inning later. The homer was Cowser's first since May 26 and just his second since the start of May, as his hot start to the year has faded. He's batting just .196 over his last 16 contests, though Cedric Mullins' struggles at the plate have allowed Cowser to maintain a decent share of playing time. The 24-year-old is slashing .234/.324/.436 with eight homers, four stolen bases, 29 RBI and 27 runs scored across 216 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:09 am
    • Goes deep in loss
Greene went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 7-5 loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Greene is starting to get going at the plate, as he's now batting .275 in June with two home runs, seven RBI and eight runs scored across 10 games. The young outfielder has pushed himself up to 12 long balls on the season, and if he stays hot the rest of the month, his counting stats could trend upward quickly. • Struggles again Wednesday
Olson (1-8) allowed five runs (four earned) on 10 hits across 5.1 innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Nationals. He walked two and struck out three.

Advice: Although this wasn't as bad as his last outing, when he allowed eight runs on 12 hits over four innings, this still wasn't a great performance from Olson. The righty has now sustained losses in his last three starts, and he has a 10.43 ERA during the rough stretch. It's quite a reversal for Olson, as he had a 1.92 ERA across his first 10 appearances of the season. Fantasy managers will hope he gets back on track in his next scheduled start, which is tentatively set for Monday against a tough Atlanta lineup on the road. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:09 pm

    • Earns fourth straight win
Lodolo (7-2) earned the win against the Guardians on Wednesday, allowing two runs on seven hits and three walks with six strikeouts over six innings.

Advice: After retiring the first three batters he faced, Lodolo had traffic on the bases all night but limited the damage to just two runs. Lodolo even hit two batters, but he was able to battle for his fourth consecutive win and third straight quality start. Despite two stints on the injured list, Lodolo has had a huge bounceback season and now owns a 2.93 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 62:15 K:BB through 10 starts. He tentatively lines up to face the Pirates next Monday. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:07 pm

    • Labors in no-decision
Assad did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 4-3 win over Tampa Bay, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 4.2 innings.

Advice: Assad opened with two scoreless frames then allowed a run in the third on a double by Isaac Paredes and another on a solo home run by Jose Siri in the fourth. With two runners on and two outs in the fifth, Assad was pulled at 90 pitches with a 2-1 deficit. Since his last win on May 15, Assad has failed to reach six innings or record a win in five straight outings and has seen his ERA climb from 1.49 to 2.81. He tentatively lines up for a home matchup against the Giants next Monday. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:44 pm
