    • Slugs homer in easy win
Garcia went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional RBI during Sunday's 6-0 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Garcia snapped a five-game hitless streak Sunday, delivering two hits and pushing his RBI total to 40 this season. He also notched his 13th long ball of 2024, taking Trevor Rogers yard in the sixth frame. Garcia ranks top 15 in homers and RBI this year and is slashing .231/.285/.462 through 212 plate appearances. • Locks down save
Helsley struck out two without allowing a hit or a walk in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Phillies.

Advice: A flyout allowed the initial runner to advance to third base, but Helsley struck out the next two batters to close this game. It was encouraging to see the 29-year-old have a dominant outing after allowing four runs over his previous three appearances. He's earned a save in eight straight outings despite his recent shakiness, and he still has a 2.42 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 27:6 K:BB over 26 innings while converting 19 of 20 save chances this season. • Knocks sixth homer
Chourio went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Chourio belted a three-run shot during Milwaukee's four-run second inning. It was his first long ball since May 15, snapping a 12-game drought. During that stretch, he was 6-for-36 (.167) with just two extra-base hits. The highly-touted prospect is still trying to find his footing at the MLB level; he's slashing .214/.257/.345 with 10 extra-base hits and a 10:49 BB:K through 52 games. • Ryan Helsley closes out Phillies in 10th inning
Ryan Helsley closed out the Phillies in the 10th inning on Sunday night, working a scoreless frame to protect a one-run advantage.

Advice: The 29-year-old right-hander had to do some work, as Bryce Harper advanced to third base on a fly ball to start the inning, but Helsley battled back to strike out Cristian Pache and Nick Castellanos to leave the tying run stranded there. Helsley has now racked up a league-leading 19 saves on the season to go with a terrific 2.42 ERA and a 27/6 K/BB ratio over 26 innings of work. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm

    • Allows five runs in loss
Brown (1-2) allowed five runs on six hits across five innings to take the loss Sunday against the Reds. He walked one and struck out six.

Advice: Brown actually pitched decently, but he was done in by a three-run home run by TJ Friedl and a lack of run support in the 5-2 loss. The five runs allowed are the rookie's most since he gave up six in his MLB debut back on March 30. Outside of the few hiccups, Brown has been pretty solid, and he's still sitting with a strong 3.33 ERA across 51.1 innings to go along with 61 strikeouts. The righty is penciled in to start again on Saturday against this same Cincinnati squad, though the pending return of Jordan Wicks (forearm) could push Brown out of the rotation after that. • Homers, triples in losing effort
Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, triple, two RBI and a walk Sunday against the Tigers.

Advice: Devers third-inning triple plated a run while his solo blast in the eighth knotted the game at four and set the stage for extra innings. It was the second triple and 11th homer of the season for Devers, who entered the game in a mini 1-for-10 slump since accumulating four hits against the Orioles on Tuesday. It was also the first dinger for Devers since hitting homers in six-consecutive games from May 15-20. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:17 pm

    • Nelson Velázquez delivers clutch game-tying hit
Nelson Velázquez had a pinch-hit two-RBI triple to tie the game in the ninth inning in a 4-3 win over the Padres on Sunday.

Advice: Velázquez didn’t start the game, but he was brought on to face left-hander Yuki Matsui in the ninth inning and drilled a 109 mph triple off the center field wall to tie the game. It was a ball that could have left the yard in 18 of 30 MLB stadiums and continued Velázquez’s trend of only getting hits in big situations. In his last 11 games, Velázquez has gone 8-for-43 but five of those hits have been home runs and two others have driven in runs. The slugger is hitting just .219 on the season, which will dampen his fantasy value, but the power is for real. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:46 pm
    • Ben Brown struggles in follow-up to no-hit effort
Ben Brown allowed five runs on six hits in five innings in a loss to the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Brown struck out six and walked one, but he was far more hittable in this one than last week. Brown did post a 32 percent whiff rate and 36 percent CSW on the day, but much of that was on the back of his curveball, which is a strong pitch. His four-seam fastball is less impressive, and Brown threw it 70 percent of the time on Sunday, which is part of the downside of Brown as a two-pitch pitcher. Brown has a 3.33 ERA on the season and has clear strikeout upside, but his limited pitch mix will make him a volatile fantasy asset and with Jordan Wicks set to return from the injured list, there’s no telling how many more starts Brown will make after next week’s start in Cincinnati. • Rafael Devers homers, triples, walks versus Tigers
Rafael Devers homered, tripled and walked Sunday in a loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Devers has done his best work this season batting second, and the Red Sox might have won today had they had him in that spot behind Jarren Duran, who was on base four times. Instead, they had him batting fourth behind Dominic Smith of all people. Devers did drive in Smith with the triple, but the homer was a solo shot. It was his first game with multiple extra-base hits since he doubled twice on May 3. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
