The shortstop is up to a .294/.328/.481 slash line with eight homers, 24 RBI, 30 runs scored, four steals, 17 doubles and a triple over 55 contests this season.       Ty France went 3-for-3 with three RBI including a go-ahead homer in the eighth to give the Mariners a 5-4 win against the Angels on Friday.

      Advice: Bonjour. France drove in two runs with a double in the first, and then broke a 4-4 tie with a homer off Andrew Moore. The 29-year-old got off to a very mediocre start, but he’s swung the bat well enough as of late to improve his slash to .260/.325/.411 with seven homers and 24 RBI.       Marcus Stroman gave up two runs over 7 2/3 innings to get a win Friday over the Giants.

      Advice: Stroman allowed six hits with a pair of walks while striking out only two. The punchouts are not the 33-year-old’s strength, but he limits the hard contact and works deep enough into games to give fantasy managers a reason to smile more often than not.       Ezequiel Tovar went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in a win Friday against the Dodgers.

      Advice: Tovar gave the Rockies a 4-0 lead with a solo homer in the fourth off Walker Buehler. The shortstop has homered eight times in 2024 with five of them coming in May.
