    • Robert Suarez nails down 14th save against Reds
Robert Suarez fired a scoreless 10th to pick up a save against the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: That’s already the 14th save of the season for Suarez; putting him at right around a 40-save pace at this stage of the season. The right-hander hasn’t just helped in that category, as the scoreless 10th puts his ERA at a sparkling 0.40 for the 2024 campaign. There were question marks about Suarez being a stopper for the Padres coming into the season. Over the first 50-plus games, that question has been answered rather emphatically. • Stuck with first loss
Garrett (5-1) took the loss Wednesday against Cleveland, allowing a run on two hits and a walk in one inning. He struck out two.

Advice: After entering with the game tied 3-3 in the seventh inning, Garrett allowed a leadoff single to David Fry, who advanced to second on a wild pitch before eventually scoring on a Johnathan Rodriguez base hit. It's the first loss of the year for the 31-year-old Garrett -- he's allowed just two earned runs in his last 13.1 innings. Despite Wednesday's setback, Garrett's emerged as a top option in the Mets' bullpen and could see the occasional save chance with Edwin Diaz temporarily shifting to a lower-leverage role. Overall, Garrett sports a 1.04 ERA with a 1.19 WHIP while posting a stellar 14.9 K/9 across 26 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 7:35 am

    • Sitting out Thursday
Raleigh is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Yankees.

Advice: Raleigh started the first three games of the series against the Yankees and hit a home run in Wednesday's 7-3 loss, but he'll get a breather for Thursday's afternoon tilt. Seby Zavala will draw the start at catcher. Rotowire.com Today, 7:16 am

    • Sitting Thursday
Campusano is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Campusano will rest for the Thursday afternoon game after he started behind the plate Tuesday and Wednesday while going 1-for-7 with a run scored. Kyle Higashioka will draw the start at catcher and will form a battery with right-hander Matt Waldron. Rotowire.com Today, 7:15 am

    • Gets aboard six times Wednesday
Wade went 3-for-3 with three walks, one RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 9-5 extra-inning win over the Pirates.

Advice: This was Wade's first three-hit game of the year, as well as his second three-walk effort. It's arguably the best example of what he's brought to the table in 2024 -- decent contact hitting and remarkable patience at the plate. Wade is batting .340 with a 19:12 BB:K over 19 games in May. For the season, the first baseman is at a .336/.484/.431 slash line with two home runs, 16 RBI, 20 runs scored, five doubles and one stolen base over 153 plate appearances. Wade briefly saw a full-time role earlier in the month when Jorge Soler was on the injured list, but since Soler's return, Wade has returned to a strong-side platoon with Wilmer Flores at first base. • Career day against Milwaukee
Luzardo (2-3) picked up the win Wednesday, allowing three hits and no walks with four strikeouts across eight scoreless innings against the Brewers.

Advice: Luzardo completed eight innings for the first time in his career, blanking Milwaukee in dominant fashion. All three hits allowed were singles and he didn't issue a walk for a second straight start. The southpaw retired 17 consecutive batters during the start, spanning the second to the eighth inning. He's been excellent in three starts since coming off the IL, owning a 0.92 ERA and a 19:1 K:BB over 19.2 innings. He'll look to keep the ball rolling Tuesday against the Padres. • Slugs 11th homer
Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Raleigh leads all major-league catchers with 11 homers this season, though he hadn't hit one out since May 11. This was his only hit over 10 at-bats across the last three games after a stretch in which he went 9-for-30 in an eight-game span. Raleigh is up to a .219/.299/.458 slash line with 28 RBI, 24 runs scored, four doubles and no stolen bases over 174 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:33 pm

    • Cal Raleigh tags three-run homer in loss
Cal Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run on Wednesday in a loss to the Yankees.

Advice: The Orioles offense was quiet all night besides Raleigh’s blast. He golfed a changeup from Luke Weaver, which has been one of the best individual pitches in baseball this season, just barely over the right-field fence for his 11th long ball of the season. It would’ve been a homer in fewer than half of the league’s stadiums, but this was the only one that mattered. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:12 pm

    • LaMonte Wade Jr. reaches six times in victory
LaMonte Wade Jr. had an impressive night at the dish in Wednesday’s victory over the Pirates, going 3-for-3 with three singles, three walks, a pair of runs scored and an RBI.

Advice: The 30-year-old outfielder led off the sixth inning with a single and rode home on Matt Chapman’s two-run blast. He then delivered the biggest hit of the game, smacking a game-tying two-out RBI single off of Colin Holderman in the ninth inning. With his three-hit attack, Wade is now hitting .336/.484/.431 with a pair of homers, 16 RBI and a stolen base. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:06 pm
