    • Jarren Duran swats homer in blowout defeat
Jarren Duran hit a solo homer in a blowout loss to the Padres on Saturday.

Advice: Duran took Michael King deep in what ended up being the only run of the game for the Red Sox in the sixth inning. It also came with Boston trailing 10-0, but still counts just the same. Duran has been nothing short of spectacular in June with a .366/.420/.594 slash, and he’s now up to eight homers and 38 RBI to go along with his 20 stolen bases across the 2024 campaign. • Won't require rehab stint
Harrison (ankle) will throw one more bullpen session then rejoin the rotation during the Giants' six-game road trip that begins Thursday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Harrison hasn't seen any in-game action since June 10 due to a sprained right ankle, but he'll be ready to return to the Giants rotation after completing several bullpen sessions. While it's unclear when he'll be slotted to start, the 22-year-old is most likely to pitch during a three-game series in Cleveland next weekend. Prior to the injury, Harrison turned in a 3.96 ERA and a 68:22 K:BB across 77.1 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 2:17 pm

    • Kyle Harrison unlikely to require rehab start
Kyle Harrison (ankle) is not expected to require a minor league rehab start before rejoining the Giants’ rotation.

Advice: Harrison threw a bullpen session without issue on Friday. He’ll repeat the process again in a few days and if all goes well it sounds like he’ll be cleared to rejoin the Giants’ rotation. The 22-year-old hurler holds a 3.96 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and a 68/22 K/BB ratio over 77 1/3 innings through his first 14 starts on the season. Rotoworld Today, 2:08 pm

    • Back in action Saturday
Winker (knee) is starting in left field and batting third Saturday against the Rays.

Advice: Winker was battling knee problems after getting his foot caught in the outfield grass during the first inning of Friday's game, but he appears to be in good enough shape to play Saturday. The 30-year-old has slashed .260/.377/.412 through 302 plate appearances this season, though he may see limited work in the outfield after top prospect James Wood officially joins the Nationals for his MLB debut Monday. • Jesse Winker in Saturday’s lineup against Rays
Jesse Winker (knee) is in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Rays.

Advice: Winker is back in left field and batting third for Saturday’s showdown after suffering a right knee contusion during the bottom of the first inning of Friday’s game when he attempted to catch a fly ball near the left-field wall. His right cleat got caught in the turf, causing him to stumble and fall into the wall, which led to his exit from the contest. He’s apparently feeling well enough to get back in the lineup, which is a relief for the Nationals, and fantasy managers as well. Rotoworld Today, 10:37 am
    • Swipes 14th bag
Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 7-2 win over the Astros.

Advice: The veteran shortstop has flipped the switch in the second half of June. Lindor has racked up three straight multi-hit performances, and over the last 11 contests he's batting a scorching .370 (17-for-46) with two of his 13 homers and four of his 14 steals on the season along with seven doubles, eight RBI and 12 runs. • Submits quality start
Webb allowed two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: Webb had a rough fifth inning, but other than that, he was his usual steady self. With the Giants' rotation in shambles due to injuries, getting a longer start out of Webb is a positive for the team's situation. He's gone at least six innings in 10 straight appearances, posting a 2.86 ERA over 66 innings with a 61:14 K:BB in that span. That's just a bit better than his 3.12 ERA for the year, which comes with a 1.22 WHIP and 97:26 K:BB across 112.1 innings through 18 starts. Webb's next start is projected to be at Atlanta. • Logan Webb spins seven innings in no-decision
Logan Webb gave up two runs in seven innings against the Dodgers on Friday while not qualifying for a decision.

Advice: Webb threw 62-of-93 pitches for strikes while walking three and fanning six. The right-hander gave up both runs in the fifth, and outside of that frame he was brilliant while lowering his ERA to 3.12 on the campaign. Webb isn’t immune to clunkers, but he’s been one of the best starting options in baseball since 2021. You already knew that, but it’s a good reminder. Webb’s next start is lined up for Thursday against Atlanta. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:11 pm

    • Cal Raleigh drives home game-winner in 10th
Cal Raleigh picked up an RBI on a fielder’s choice to give the Mariners a 3-2 win over the Twins on Friday.

Advice: The Mariners scored all of their runs in bizarre fashion Friday, and Raleigh made sure the game-winner was a dribbler that was good enough to score J.P. Crawford from third and give Seattle the win. The 27-year-old backstop has really struggled to hit for average, but has helped as a ron-producer with 50 RBI in through the first 84 games of the year.
