    • Tyler Anderson hit hard Sunday in loss to Tigers
Tyler Anderson was lit up for six runs over 4 2/3 innings on Sunday in a loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Anderson was shelled for seven hits, including a two-run homer by Tigers rookie Justyn-Henry Malloy. He finished with just two strikeouts and only issued one walk. The 34-year-old southpaw has experienced some significant pullback in the run-prevention department over the last few weeks as his ERA has ballooned from 2.47 back on May 29 to a more league-average 3.03 mark by the end of June. He’ll square off against the Cubs on Saturday at Wrigley Field his next time out. Rotoworld 12 minutes ago
    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (hand) hopes to play Monday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. said his right hand was sore Sunday after he was hit by a Gerrit Cole pitch, but he added that he should be able to play Monday.

Advice: Guerrero remained in today after getting plunked. X-rays taken after the game came back negative. Rotoworld 54 minutes ago

    • Has four hits, drives in three
Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Marlins.

Advice: For the second time in his last 10 games, Castellanos has had a four-hit performance after only having one in his previous 264 games. Castellanos has 12 RBI over his last 11 games and now has 42 for the season. The recent hot streak has pushed Castellano's season line to .231/.289/.386 with 11 home runs through 83 games. • X-rays negative on hand
Guerrero had X-rays on his right hand come back negative after being hit by a pitch during Sunday's loss to the Yankees, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

Advice: The 25-year-old remained in the contest after being hit by the pitch during the third inning, but he was eventually pulled for a pinch hitter. He finished the day 1-for-2 with a base hit. Guerrero appears to have avoided a serious injury and should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener against Houston. • Nick Castellanos notches four hits on Sunday
Nick Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a double, three RBI, and a stolen base on Sunday in a thrilling 7-6 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Castellanos stepped up in a huge way Sunday as the Phillies try to make do without Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and J.T. Realmuto. He was in the middle of important rallies in the fifth and sixth innings and nearly hit a home run that was knocked down by Bryan De La Cruz right at the left field wall. Castellanos is too good to keep hitting as poorly as he has this season. Rotoworld Today, 2:01 pm

    • Receiving Sunday off
Correa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Seattle.

Advice: The veteran shortstop was in the lineup the past two days after being hit by a pitch on the right wrist Thursday, but he'll receive a day off for Sunday's series finale. Correa didn't appear to be affected by the injury as he went 3-for-8with a two-run homer and an additional run scored in the first two games of the series. Rotowire.com Today, 11:14 am

    • Taking seat against lefty
Melendez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: Melendez will sit against Cleveland lefty Logan Allen on Sunday, ending a stretch of 11 straight starts during which he posted a .688 OPS. Dairon Blanco will man left field and bat ninth in the series finale. Rotowire.com Today, 11:08 am

    • Gabriel Moreno (thumb) could return Tuesday
Gabriel Moreno (thumb) could be activated off the injured list as as soon as Tuesday, Jody Jackson of the Diamondbacks reports.

Advice: Moreno was placed on the injured list last Saturday with a sprained left thumb, and he’ll be eligible for activation Tuesday. The 24-year-old may get a couple extra days, but the Diamondbacks already announced they don’t believe he needs a rehab assignment, so it would take something unforeseeable for him not to be back before the middle of the week.
