    • Adbert Alzolay (forearm) moved to 60-day IL
      Cubs transferred RHP Adbert Alzolay from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.

      Advice: Alzolay is now off the 40-man roster, and the Cubs used that space to select the contract of David Bote. Alzolay has been on the injured list since May 13 with a forearm strain, and he’s now not eligible to return to the Chicago bullpen until July 13.       Advice: The right-hander has been sidelined nearly three weeks by a forearm strain and remains shut down from throwing, so the move likely won't significantly affect his return timeline. The right-hander threw 65 pitches and will continue building up his workload to about five innings as he moves up to the Triple-A level.       Anthony Volpe went 1-for-4 with a double on Saturday in the Yankees’ win over the Giants.
