    • Michael Conforto singles Friday in rehab contest
Michael Conforto (hamstring) went 1-for-3 on Friday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Sacramento.

Advice: Conforto kicked off his rehab assignment by getting in a couple frames in left field as he works his way back from a right hamstring strain. The 31-year-old veteran was off to a strong start at the dish, with encouraging Statcast batted ball metrics to back it up, which should make him a relevant option for fantasy managers once he returns. • Luis Robert Jr. goes 0-for-5 on Friday at Triple-A
Luis Robert Jr. (hip) went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts on Friday in a minor league rehab contest for Triple-A Charlotte.

Advice: Robert has gone 1-for-12 with a home run in three games for Triple-A Charlotte on his rehab assignment. There’s optimism that he’ll be ready to return early next week, but he’s going to get a couple more minor-league games under his belt this weekend to continue knocking off the rust. • Converts 12th save
Munoz allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Munoz's scoreless streak is up to six innings, and he allowed just one run over 13.1 innings in May while converting all seven of his save chances during the month. The closer is 12-for-13 in save chances this year. He's been hard to hit with a 1.42 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 35:8 K:BB over 25.1 innings as the Mariners' top ninth-inning option. Munoz needs one more save to match his career high from last year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:48 pm

    • Andrés Muñoz locks down 12th save of season
Andrés Muñoz fired a scoreless ninth with two strikeouts to pick up a save Friday against the Angels.

Advice: Muñoz needed just 15 pitches to get through the outing with 11 of them going for strikes. The right-hander has been absolutely dominant as of late with a 1.42 ERA and 12 saves for his troubles. To say he’s not in danger of giving up his closing gig is quite the understatement. • Laces five hits, drives in five
Yelich went 5-for-6 with a stolen base, two doubles, five RBI and one run scored in Friday's win against the White Sox.

Advice: Yelich collected his first five-hit game of 2024 and fifth of his career, achieving the feat for the first time since Aug. 17, 2019. The former MVP has been resurgent since returning from a back injury May 8, hitting .321 (25-for-78) with one homer, six stolen bases, 16 RBI and 14 runs scored. Overall, Yelich is slashing .325/.406/.564 in 134 plate appearances while anchoring a formidable first-place Brewers lineup. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:59 pm
    • Christian Yelich drives in five to beat White Sox
Christian Yelich went 5-for-6, drove in five runs and stole a base in a 12-5 win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: The Brew Crew were able to pick up 23 hits and six walks against the overmatched White Sox. Yelich was responsible for nearly a quarter of those, and two of them were double, giving him six on the season. The steal was the eighth, and Yelich continues to impress when on the field in 2024 with a .325/.406/.564 slash. It’s fun to see a the MVP version of Yelich thus far. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:06 pm
    • Beginning rehab assignment Friday
Conforto (hamstring) will begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Conforto continues to work his way through a right hamstring strain that he sustained May 11 against the Reds. Before landing on the IL, Conforto was slashing .280/.331/.490 with seven home runs and 20 RBI over 154 plate appearances. If all goes well, he may only need a few rehab appearances before being activated. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:32 pm

    • Michael Conforto starts rehab assignment Friday
Michael Conforto (hamstring) began a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Friday.

Advice: The Giants’ outfield could use some reinforcements, and Conforto should be ready to provide that after a couple of minor league games to get his timing back. If all goes well, he should return to the active roster early next week. Before landing on the injured list, the 31-year-old slugger was hitting .280/.331/.490 with seven homers and 20 RBI in 38 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:16 pm
