    • Nearing rehab assignment
Conforto (hamstring) could begin a rehab assignment later this week, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Conforto was cleared to resume baseball activities last week as he works his way back from a right hamstring strain, although it's uncertain whether he's done any running yet. He's been on the shelf for a little more than two weeks and shouldn't need too many rehab games before being activated, assuming all goes well. Rotowire.com Today, 12:00 pm

    • Michael Conforto could start rehab this week
Michael Conforto (hamstring) could start a rehab assignment later this week.

Advice: Fellow outfielder Austin Slater (concussion) is starting a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, and Conforto could join him later in the week. The 31-year-old is off to a tremendous start with a .280/.331/.490 slash line and seven home runs in 38 games. He was placed on the IL on May 12th and his return to the active roster could be bad news for one of Luis Matos or Heliot Ramos, who have been playing regularly since Conforto was injured. • Absent from lineup
Marsh is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Left-hander Blake Snell will be toeing the slab for the Giants, offering the Phillies an opportunity to give the left-handed hitting Marsh a breather. Right-handed batter Cristian Pache will patrol left field. Rotowire.com Today, 11:18 am

    • Michael Busch sits for second straight game
Michael Busch is not in the Cubs’ lineup on Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: With the Brewers throwing a left-handed pitcher, Busch will find himself on the bench; however, he was also on the bench on Sunday. The rookie is hitting 12-for-64 (.188) in May with one home run and a 39.2 percent strikeout rate. If he doesn’t start picking it up soon, it’s fair to wonder how much longer the Cubs will keep him in the starting lineup. Patrick Wisdom will get the start on Monday and has now started three games in a row. He’d likely benefit the most from a decision to dial back on Busch’s playing time. Rotoworld Today, 11:15 am

    • Locks down save Sunday
Scott picked up the save Sunday in a 3-1 win over the Diamondbacks, throwing a perfect ninth while striking out a batter.

Advice: Scott faced no trouble from the Diamondback hitters Sunday. He sent them down in order on 15 pitches and struck out Eugenio Suarez to end the game. Scott has not allowed an earned run since April 14 and finished May with three wins, three saves and a hold in nine appearances. He's up to seven saves on the year now and carries a 1.64 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 23:18 K:BB in 22 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 6:00 am
    • Drives in two in win
Lowe went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Sunday's 6-2 win over Minnesota.

Advice: Lowe had a pair of run-producing singles, his first multi-hit game since May 8. The first baseman entered Sunday with just six hits over the last 49 at-bats (.122). That slump prompted manager Bruce Bochy to drop Lowe to sixth in order against right-handers this past week. Rotowire.com Today, 5:21 am
    • Wyatt Langford (hamstring) expected back Tuesday
Wyatt Langford (hamstring) is expected to return from the injured list on Tuesday.

Advice: Langford played in his third game on his minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday and isn’t expected to need any more at-bats before he’s ready to return to the Rangers’ lineup. Before landing on the shelf on May 6, the 22-year-old phenom was hitting .224/.295/.293 with one homer, 11 RBI and one stolen base over his first 31 games at the big league level. • Could be activated Tuesday
Langford (hamstring) will bat leadoff and start in left field for Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday in what could be his final rehab appearance before he returns from the 10-day injured list, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Advice: The Rangers could use a spark in the lineup, and with Langford playing the field in back-to-back games, it would seem his hamstring is responding well. Texas is off Monday, so Langford's status may not be known until Tuesday's series opener versus the Diamondbacks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:20 pm

    • Tanner Scott slams door on Diamondbacks in ninth
Tanner Scott slammed the door on the Diamondbacks in the ninth inning on Sunday, working a scoreless frame to protect a two-run lead and earn his seventh save of the season.

Advice: Scott made it look awfully easy in this one, getting Randal Grichuk on a pop up to third base, Gabriel Moreno on a ground ball to shortstop and Eugenio Suarez on strikes to end it. The 29-year-old southpaw needed just 15 pitches (10 strikes) to get the job done. He now boasts a 1.64 ERA to go along with his seven saves on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:51 pm
