      Advice: Meanwhile, Thomson pegged Bryce Harper (hamstring) and J.T. Realmuto (knee) at 70-to-75 percent as they go through drills.       Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI, two runs scored, and a walk on Wednesday against the Rays.

      Advice: Witt paced the Royals in this one and was the engine for their offense. His third inning double got them on the board and a key walk in the seventh set Salvador Perez up for his huge two-run single to put this game out of reach. Witt remains one of the most productive and dependable players in baseball with a .314/.366/.543 slash line to go along with 13 home runs and 22 stolen bases.       Eovaldi (5-3) picked up the win in Tuesday's 7-0 victory over the Padres, allowing just one hit over seven scoreless innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.

      Advice: Bryce Johnson's third-inning single spoiled any shot Eovaldi might have had at making history, but the right-hander still put together a dominant performance before leaving the mound after 92 pitches (61 strikes). The quality start was his sixth of the year, and Eovaldi will take a 3.15 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 80:26 K:BB through 80 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home this weekend against the Rays.       Advice: Witt's home run in the sixth inning cut Tampa Bay's lead to 2-1, but it would also end up being the only way the Royals got on the board in a 5-1 defeat. The 24-year-old shortstop remains one of the most reliable bats in baseball, recording a hit in seven of his last eight games while posting a 1.015 OPS in that span.       Berrios (8-6) picked up the win Tuesday against Houston, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks with one strikeout across five innings. He also hit a batter.

      Advice: Berrios kept the Astros off the scoreboard until the fifth inning, where he unwound and allowed three singles, a hit-by-pitch and a three-run home run. Still, Berrios was able to snare a second straight win as the Blue Jays had compiled seven runs prior to the fifth. The 30-year-old has been shaky as of late, owning a 5.97 ERA with 17 strikeouts and eight home runs allowed over his last five starts. He's scheduled to face the Mariners on Sunday.
