    • Begins playing catch
Weathers (finger) has been cleared to play catch, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Advice: It's the first time he's done any throwing since going down with a left index finger strain back in early June. Given that he was shut down for more than six weeks, it's going to take a long time for Weathers to get ramped back up, but this was the first step. He's pitched well this season for the Marlins when healthy, posting a 3.55 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 67:20 K:BB through 71 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 12:55 pm

    • Coughs up 10 hits
Houck allowed four runs on 10 hits and three walks over six innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out two during the extra-innings loss against the Rockies.

Advice: Colorado scored all four runs against Houck during the third inning, starting with a two-run shot by Charlie Blackmon. It was the second time Houck gave up double-digit hits this season and first since April 12. Despite the poor outing, he still owns an impressive 2.71 ERA with a 114:29 K:BB through 123 innings this season. Houck's been less efficient as of late, posting a 4.50 ERA with a lackluster 25:14 K:BB over his last six outings. His next start is lined up to be at home against the Yankees. • Supplies only offense Monday
Gorman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Gorman's fifth-inning blast tied the game at 1-1, but that was the Cardinals' lone scoring play. Over his last 13 games, the second baseman has gone 14-for-46 (.304) with two homers, nine RBI and 21 strikeouts. He's up to 19 long balls, 50 RBI, 41 runs scored, six stolen bases and a .206/.278/.424 slash line on the year, though he remains in the lineup regularly despite his swing-and-miss issues. • Tanner Houck gives up four runs in no-decision
Tanner Houck yielded four runs and 10 hits in six innings Monday in a no-decision against the Rockies.

Advice: Houck’s pitches didn’t move quite like he wanted them to at Coors Field, but he still adapted well after a four-run third inning and kept the Red Sox in the game despite giving up 10 hits and walking three. He’ll take on the Yankees next time out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:34 pm

    • Tallies two hits, steals base
Busch went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 3-1 win over the Brewers. He also stole a base.

Advice: Busch tallying two hits isn't surprising, as he's batting a solid .270 this season and .313 this month. However, the stolen base is a bit more unusual, as it was just his second of the year and first since May 10. Even without being a threat on the bases, Busch has been a solid fantasy asset, and he should continue to produce given his regular role in the heart of the Cubs' lineup. • Fires seven strong innings
Keller came away with a no-decision Monday against the Cardinals, allowing one earned run on six hits and two walks while striking out three in seven innings.

Advice: The lone blemish on Keller's line was a solo home run by Nolan Gorman in the fifth inning, the only extra-base hit of the night for the Cardinals. The right-hander matched a season low with just three strikeouts, but he logged his 11th quality start in what has been a strong campaign for the 28-year-old. Keller owns a 3.34 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and a 108:32 K:BB across 121.1 innings this season. He will look to keep things going in his next start, currently scheduled for this weekend in Arizona. • Picks up save No. 18
Bednar pitched a scoreless ninth inning to notch his 18th save of the season Monday against the Cardinals, allowing one hit and zero walks while striking out one batter.

Advice: Bednar allowed a two-out single to Paul Goldschmidt but he promptly struck out Nolan Gorman to secure the win for Pittsburgh. The 29-year-old has rebounded from a tough start to the season, logging a 2.45 ERA and converting all seven of his save chances since June 1. Bednar still owns a 4.98 ERA on the season, but his 1.08 WHIP is more reflective of his performance. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:02 pm
    • Francisco Lindor homers twice, Mets edge Marlins
Francisco Lindor clobbered a pair of solo homers and also stole a base on Monday, powering the Mets to a 6-4 victory over the Marlins.

Advice: Lindor took Marlins starter Yonny Chirinos deep for a fourth inning solo homer before capping off his second multi-homer performance of the year with a solo blast off reliever JT Chargois in the final frame. The 30-year-old fantasy stalwart has been sizzling hot over the last few weeks, batting .314 (38-for-121) with eighth homers, 22 RBI and nine stolen bases over his last 30 games. He’s up to 19 round-trippers and 20 thefts on the season, giving him a decent shot at reaching the lofty 30-homer, 30-steal plateaus for the second consecutive year. What more can fantasy managers ask for? Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:06 pm

    • Homers twice, swipes bag
Lindor went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs, a walk and a stolen base in Monday's win against Miami.

Advice: Lindor took Marlins starter Yonny Chirinos deep in the fourth inning before launching another home run in the ninth off JT Chargois to propel the Mets to victory. The 30-year-old registered his second multi-home run game of the season while adding his 20th stolen base for good measure. The star shortstop has had an excellent July thus far, slashing .294/.429/.588 with six home runs, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored and five steals in 18 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:51 pm
