• Jorge Mateo swipes base in loss to Mariners
    Jorge Mateo went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base as the Orioles fell to the Mariners on a rainy Saturday evening in Baltimore.

    Advice: Mateo led off the third inning with a double off of Mariners’ right-hander Luis Castillo, then raced around to score on a single off the bat of Ryan O’Hearn. He also singled in the second inning and swiped second base, but the Orioles were unable to cash him in.     Bryson Stott went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Nationals on Saturday.



    Advice: Stott continues to swing a solid bat for the Phillies. His home run tied the game in the seventh inning. Stott regularly bats fifth in the order and has a .282 average and .861 OPS on the season now.

    Advice: Freeman continues to occupy the leadoff spot for Cleveland despite a .221 average. The stolen base was his sixth of the season. It was a huge game for Freeman, who remains merely a deep league option.
