    • Logs 13th save Monday
Estevez earned a save against the Brewers on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Estevez had little trouble protecting a two-run, ninth-inning lead, retiring the side in order on 13 pitches. The veteran reliever has turned things around after a rough middle portion of May -- he hasn't allowed a baserunner in seven straight outings, racking up six saves and a win during that span. As such, his hold on the Angels' closer role is, for now at least, very secure. Rotowire.com Today, 12:09 am
    • Draws five walks Monday
Freeman went 1-for-1 with two runs and five walks in a 9-5 win against Colorado on Monday.

Advice: Freeman's patience was on display in the victory, as he tied a Dodgers franchise record by drawing five free passes. The veteran isn't shy about taking walks -- his 14.6 percent walk rate on the campaign ranks eighth among qualified MLB hitters and is on pace for the highest mark of his career. Of course, Freeman is plenty capable when swinging the bat as well, as he's currently batting .302, putting him on pace for his fifth straight season hitting at least .300. • Clubs another homer
Ramos went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-6 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Ramos has multiple hits in 10 of his 15 games in June, and he's also hit seven homers and driven in 18 runs this month. The 24-year-old has put it all together, going from fading prospect to a leader in the Giants' offense after seizing an everyday role in May. He's at a .328/.404/.577 slash line with nine long balls, 31 RBI, 16 runs scored, seven doubles and one stolen base over 36 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:17 pm

    • Carlos Estévez perfect in seventh straight outing
Carlos Estévez threw a scoreless ninth with a two-run lead for a save Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: It was Estévez’s seventh consecutive perfect inning, a stretch that’s lowered his ERA from 5.06 to 3.52. He still doesn’t seem like a great bet going forward, but he certainly has it working now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:01 pm
    • Freddie Freeman walks five times in victory
Freddie Freeman singled and walked five times Monday against the Rockies.

Advice: Freeman became the first player to walk five times in a game since Matt Chapman on Aug. 12, 2021 and the first to both walk five times and collect a hit since, unbelievably, Rougned Odor on Aug. 2, 2018. Freeman had two runs scored and zero RBI to show for his success tonight. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:08 pm
    • Ramos belts ninth home run against Cubs Monday
Heliot Ramos went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in the Giants’ 7-6 victory over the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Ramos’ home run was his ninth of the season. He’s now homered in three of his last four games and has four consecutive games with at least two hits. Ramos has taken the league by storm with a .328 average and .981 OPS in 36 games with the Giants this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:32 pm

    • Picks up fourth win
Skenes (4-0) earned the win Monday against the Reds after he allowed one run in six innings. He gave up six hits, walked one and struck out seven.

Advice: Skenes has been every bit as advertised over his first seven career starts, and he once again showed off an impressive repertoire Monday to get his fourth win. The rookie right-hander has now gone at least six innings in five of his seven starts, and he's reached at least seven strikeouts six times. The 22-year-old has only allowed seven free passes all season and will take a 2.29 ERA and 0.99 WHIP into his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:32 pm
    • Rafaela has two hits, home run in win Monday
Ceddanne Rafaela went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a solo home run against the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Rafaela’s home run was his eighth of the season. Despite hitting ninth regularly, he’s up to 40 RBI on the season, which leads the team. Rafaela’s only hitting .243, but his counting numbers show he’s been a very productive player this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:18 pm

    • Paul Skenes dominates again in seven-strikeout gem
Paul Skenes struck out seven and allowed one run over six innings on Monday in a win over the Reds.

Advice: Skenes got into trouble in the opening frame when he surrendered a run-scoring double to Spencer Steer, but managed to escape the frame without any additional damage, and went on to limit Cincinnati’s lineup to just five baserunners over his final five innings of work. The electrifying 22-year-old rookie induced an eye-popping 18 swinging strikes in this one, including nine on his splinker alone, and finished with a near-elite 34 percent CSW. He’s recorded at least seven strikeouts in six of his first seven starts since arriving in the majors back in mid-May. He’s the real deal. He’ll bring a sparkling 2.29 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 53/7 K/BB ratio across 39 1/3 innings (seven starts) into a favorable matchup on Sunday against the strikeout-prone Rays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:59 pm
