    • RBI streak at six games
Pasquantino went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: The first baseman opened the scoring for his squad in the first inning by taking Tanner Bibee deep, but the Royals' offense quickly dried up after that. Pasquantino has gone yard in back-to-back games and has a six-game RBI streak going, batting .348 (8-for-23) over that stretch with a double, three homers and eight RBI. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago
    • Notches third straight win
Bibee (7-2) picked up the win Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits over six innings in a 7-2 victory over the Royals. He struck out three without walking a batter.

Advice: The right-hander looked shaky early, serving up solo shots to Vinnie Pasquantino in the first inning and Michael Massey in the second, but Bibee didn't let a runner even get to second base after that. He's reeled off three straight wins, all quality starts, and he'll take a 3.47 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 109:22 K:BB through 93.1 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Giants. • Stifles BoSox on Saturday
King (6-5) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over six innings in a 11-1 rout of the Red Sox. He struck out six.

Advice: The right-hander blanked Boston for five innings before serving up a solo shot to Jarren Duran, but San Diego had already compiled a 10-0 lead by that point. King produced his first quality start since June 2, and his seventh of the season, on 89 pitches (63 strikes). He'll take a 3.61 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 115:39 K:BB through 99.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Diamondbacks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:01 pm
    • Lifts fourth homer
Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Lowe has four multi-hit efforts over his last nine games, a span that also includes two of his four homers this year. The first baseman has never displayed elite power, but his .369 slugging percentage for the season is low even by his standard. He's at least been fairly consistent at the plate, batting .262 with 27 RBI, 25 runs scored, two stolen bases and 11 doubles over 62 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:18 pm

    • Lowe has three hits, two-run homer in loss
Nathaniel Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss Saturday to the Orioles.

Advice: Lowe also doubled. The homer was a two-run shot that got the Rangers back in the game to make it a 5-4 score in the sixth. The 28-year-old has not shown a ton of power thus far in 2024, as his .262 average and .348 on-base percentage have been dragged down by just four roundtrippers and a .369 slugging mark over 214 at-bats. • Bibee picks up seventh win against Royals Saturday
Tanner Bibee allowed two runs in six innings and got the win in the Guardians’ 7-2 victory over the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Bibee gave up four hits, walked none and struck out three. The win was his seventh of the season and third in a row. It wasn’t a big strikeout game for Bibee, just another solid outing. He has a 3.47 ERA and 3.29 xFIP on the year. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Giants at home next week.

    • Michael King bounces back with six strong in win
Michael King held the Red Sox to one run over six innings with six strikeouts while picking up a win Saturday.

Advice: King didn’t have to be at his best with Tanner Houck faltering, but he was pretty close to it, anyway. The right-hander gave up a solo homer to Jarren Duran, and that was it in terms of scoring blemishes. King has been fairly up-and-down in his first year with the Padres, but there have been enough quality starts like this one to keep the optimism going. He’s scheduled to face the Diamondbacks next weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:50 pm
    • Back in action
Rutschman (hand) is starting at catcher and batting second Saturday against the Rangers.

Advice: Rutschman was given a day off Friday after he played through a right hand injury Thursday, and he seems to be feeling better ahead of Saturday's contest. Over his last 10 games, the 26-year-old backstop has gone 15-for-40 with a home run, two RBI and seven runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:34 pm

    • Adley Rutschman (hand) returns to lineup Saturday
Adley Rutschman (hand) returned to the Orioles’ starting lineup on Saturday.

Advice: The 26-year-old backstop sat out Friday’s game due to soreness in his right hand, but he’s right back out there behind the dish to catch Cade Povich on Saturday night. Rutschman is enjoying another tremendous season at the plate, slashing .300/.351/.479 with 15 homers, 55 RBI and one stolen base through his first 77 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:26 pm
