    • Bailey Ober hurls complete game with 10 strikeouts
Bailey Ober threw all nine innings while allowing just two runs with 10 strikeouts in a 10-2 rout for the Twins over the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Ober gave up a pair of solo homers, and outside of those roundtrippers the 28-year-old was brilliant. He didn’t walk anyone, and even with 10 strikeouts, the right-hander needed only 89 pitches for the complete game. The A’s offense is ever-so-beatable, but credit Ober for another fantastic pitching performance against Oakland. He’s lined up to face the Mariners in Seattle on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 3:41 pm

    • Eflin goes seven, allows four in loss to Pirates
Zach Eflin allowed four runs in seven innings and got the loss against the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Eflin gave up five hits, walked one and struck out six. This was the longest of Eflin’s four starts since coming off the injured list and his second start in a row with at least six strikeouts. His ERA on the season is now 4.20. It’s safe to say Eflin hasn’t been able to repeat his breakout season last year when he won 16 games with a 3.50 ERA. The 30-year-old right-hander is set to face the Nationals at home next weekend.

    • Zach Eflin gives up four over seven against PIT
Zach Eflin gave up four runs in seven innings while being charged with a loss Saturday to the Pirates.

Advice: Eflin struck out six while issuing one walk. The 30-year-old right-hander gave up a long homer to Oneil Cruz in the first, and then gave up three runs in the third before settling down nicely. It was far from an abhorrent start, but Jared Jones was the better starter Saturday afternoon. Eflin now has a 4.20 ERA and (much more impressive) 63/6 K/BB through his 81 1/3 innings. • Not starting Saturday
Burger isn't in the Marlins' lineup for Saturday's game against Seattle.

Advice: Burger will get a day to clear his head Saturday after going just 1-for-21 at the plate over his last five games. Emmanuel Rivera will take over at the hot corner and bat eighth in Burger's place. Rotowire.com Today, 11:07 am

    • Max Kepler (neck) not in Saturday’s lineup vs. A’s
Max Kepler (neck) remains out of the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Athletics.

Advice: Kepler will sit out his second straight contest on Saturday afternoon due to neck spasms, but there’s no indication that he’s looking at a trip to the injured list. The 31-year-old corner outfielder’s neck locked up on him during the early stages of Thursday’s game against the Rays and he’s probably going to need a couple days off to rest. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 10:45 am

    • Extends hitting streak with homer
Reynolds went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Friday against the Rays.

Advice: Reynolds was in jeopardy of having his hitting streak snapped but smacked his 11th homer of the season to begin the eighth inning. He now has a hit in 18 consecutive games, a stretch in which he's batting .342 with four long balls, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 7:44 am

    • Fans eight Yankees for win No. 10
Sale (10-2) picked up the win Friday, allowing one run on one hit and three walks over five innings in an 8-1 victory over the Yankees. He struck out eight.

Advice: A Jahmai Jones triple in the second inning was the only knock on Sale's line as the veteran lefty fanned at least seven batters for the eighth time in nine starts since the beginning of May. Over that stretch, he's posted a 2.45 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 74:9 K:BB through 55 innings en route to becoming the third pitcher in the majors this season to reach double-digit wins, after the Phillies' Ranger Suarez and the Royals' Seth Lugo. Sale will look to keep rolling in his next outing, which lines up to come on the road next week in St. Louis. Rotowire.com Today, 6:23 am

    • Doubles twice in win
Altuve went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Orioles.

Advice: Altuve got hot early Friday; he singled and scored in the first inning before knocking an RBI double in the second. He capped off his day with another RBI double and another run scored during Houston's nine-run sixth inning. Altuve has caught fire after a lackluster May, producing a .995 OPS with 11 RBI over his last 12 games. His season slash line now sits at .301/.351/.460 with 27 extra-base hits and 45 runs scored. • Stolen base, run in win
Carroll went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 win over the Phillies. He was also hit by a pitch.

Advice: Carroll walked and stole a base ahead of Gabriel Moreno's home run in the third inning. The stolen base was Carroll's team-leading 14th, which is tied for 20th in MLB. As Carroll's reached base more frequently in the last two weeks, he's picked up his running pace. He's gotten on base at a .443 clip over the last 14 games and has attempted six steals during that stretch. Rotowire.com Today, 4:40 am
