    • Skubal allows one hit over six to improve to 6-0
Tarik Skubal allowed one hit in six scoreless frames to help the Tigers to a 13-0 drubbing of the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Advice: Skubal didn’t issue a walk and struck out six while improving to 6-0 on the season. The southpaw has had no issue carrying over the dominant finish to his 2023 campaign, and this strong outing lowered his ERA to 1.80 with a remarkable 66/8 K/BB. Simply put, SKubal has established himself as one of the true fantasy aces in baseball right now. Rotoworld Today, 9:23 pm
    • Six shutout innings for sixth win
Skubal (6-0) allowed just one hit and struck out six over six shutout innings to earn the win Friday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The Tigers' offense was explosive Friday, but Skubal was excellent in his own right in his best outing of the campaign. This was his sixth straight quality start, as well as the fourth time he's avoided walking a batter this season. The southpaw is now at a 1.80 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 66:8 K:BB through 55 innings over nine starts. He's projected to make his next start at Kansas City. Rotowire.com Today, 9:12 pm
    • Jhoan Duran allows winning run to Guardians
Jhoan Duran gave up an eighth inning home run to José Ramirez and took the loss on Friday night.

Advice: Duran entered this game tied in the eighth inning against the top of the Guardians’ order and allowed the game-winning run. It would’ve been interesting to see how the Twins managed Duran had he got through the inning cleanly: he’s yet to pitch more than an inning this season and hasn’t thrown more than 18 pitches. • Dazzles in victory
Ragans (3-3) earned the win Friday against the Athletics, allowing two hits and two walks over seven shutout innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Ragans dominated a weak Oakland offense Friday night, yielding just one single and one double over his seven innings. The Kansas City southpaw generated a solid 15 whiffs to produce his seven punchouts. Despite two seven-run outings in 2024, Ragans' ERA now stands at 3.70 over 56 innings. The 26-year-old is scheduled to make his next start against the Tigers at home. Rotowire.com Today, 8:37 pm

    • Hunter Brown allows four in win over Brewers
Hunter Brown gave up four runs in five innings but still picked up the win Friday against the Brewers.

Advice: Brown allows four hits — two of them homers, including a three-run homer by Joey Ortiz — and he walked three while striking out five. It’s another mediocre start from the right-hander, and mediocre seems to be pretty kind at this stage. It’s never a good sign when five innings of four-run baseball sees your ERA drop to 7.71. That being said, it was good enough for the win Friday, and it’s the first of the season for Brown. Rotoworld Today, 7:54 pm
    • Triple, home run in win
Henderson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an RBI triple and a second run scored in Friday's 9-2 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Henderson led off the game with a solo shot off Bryce Miller, his 13th homer of the year, before driving in a second run with an opposite-field triple in the seventh inning. While Henderson's gotten off to a great start this year, he'd been slumping a bit coming into Friday's contest, going 0-for-11 in his prior three games. Overall, the 22-year-old shortstop is slashing .263/.339/.569 with 29 RBI, 32 runs scored and six steals across 189 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 7:09 pm

    • Aaron Judge homers again in win
Aaron Judge went 1-for-1 with a solo home run and three walks in a win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Judge has been retired just once in three games as his scalding hot streak continues. He has six home runs in his last 46 at-bats and his .981 OPS is suddenly sixth among all qualified hitters. Rotoworld Today, 7:06 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson powers Orioles past Mariners
Gunnar Henderson crushed a leadoff homer, tripled and drove in a pair of runs on Friday night, powering the Orioles to a lopsided 9-2 victory over the visiting Mariners.

Advice: Henderson got the home half of the first inning started with a bang, clobbering the second pitch thrown by Bryce Miller for a 402-foot (101.3 mph EV) solo shot — his league-leading 13th of the season. The 22-year-old superstar also drove in Jorge Mateo with a run-scoring triple in the seventh inning, then scored on an RBI double off the bat of Adley Rutschman. With his two-hit attack, Henderson is now slashing .263/.339/.569 with 13 homers, 29 RBI and six stolen bases. Rotoworld Today, 6:39 pm

    • Alec Bohm drives in run as Phillies beat Nationals
Alec Bohm clubbed an RBI double on Friday as the Phillies defeated the Nationals in Philadelphia.

Advice: Bohm opened the scoring in the home half of the first inning, plating J.T. Realmuto with his run-scoring double off of Nationals’ right-hander Jake irvin. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night. For the season, the 27-year-old slugger is now hitting a robust .331/.397/.521 with four long balls, 37 RBI and a pair of stolen bases.
