He's now up to 10 steals on the year, marking a second consecutive season with double-digit thefts. Castro closed out June on a heater at the dish. In 13 games since June 16, he's slashing .370/.414/.667 with two homers, nine RBI and 13 runs scored. He's totaled seven multi-hit efforts over that span. De La Cruz has always had tremendous physical tools and is now showing genuine, all-fields power.       Advice: Kiner-Falefa singled and scored in the first inning and added another base hit in the fifth. He smacked an RBI single and scored in the sixth frame and then finished his huge day by doubling and scoring again in the eighth. The 29-year-old has put together a 13-game hit streak and seen his season average climb from .263 to .296.       Trout (knee) said Saturday that he's basically pain-free and expects to be reinstated from the 10-day injured list by the end of July, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports. Trout has yet to start running.

      Advice: Manager Ron Washington said earlier Saturday that Trout was close to resuming baseball activities, and the veteran outfielder later confirmed as much. Outside of occasional soreness in his left knee as he recovers from surgery on a torn meniscus in May, Trout isn't experiencing any recurring pain and is eager to ramp up his workouts.
