    • Belts 11th homer
Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run in a 9-2 win against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Advice: Olson was part of a big fifth inning for Atlanta, swatting the team's third and final homer in the frame. The first baseman extended his hitting streak to nine contests, a stretch during which he is batting .361 (13-for-26) with two home runs and five RBI. Olson's 11 homers are second-most on Atlanta but are well off the pace of the 54 long balls he belted last season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:04 pm

    • Randy Arozarena homers in loss to Braves
Randy Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Arozarena was hitless until a 403-foot big fly in the ninth inning. It was his ninth of the season and just his 21st RBI all year. The 29-year-old also struck out once and is hitting just .175/.284/.325 on the year. While the overall numbers are bad, there are no glaring red flags to point to. He’s swinging and missing slightly more and is perhaps being a bit too passive this season, potentially leading to worse overall contact quality. There is not much fantasy managers can do but hold on. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:12 pm
    • Jackson Merrill power binge continues in loss
Jackson Merrill went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Merrill launched a 411-foot blast against Jose Quintana for his seventh home run of the season. The rookie now has four home runs in his last three games. All of them have also been solo shots. Merrill was billed as primarily a batting average asset who wouldn’t provide much power, so it’s nice to see him starting to show some pop. Even pushing 15-20 home runs in a season would be a big boost to his fantasy value. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:31 pm
    • Having imaging done on right knee
Winker will undergo an MRI after sustaining a right knee injury during Saturday's game against the Marlins, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Winker awkwardly slid back into second after rounding the base on a Ildemaro Vargas hit and was removed from the game in the third inning. The outfielder will have an MRI done on his right knee later Saturday, which should provide some insight on the severity of the injury. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:51 pm

    • Jesse Winker (knee) heading for MRI exam
Jesse Winker will undergo an MRI exam to determine the extent of his right knee injury.

Advice: Winker sustained the injury on Saturday when he was trying to get back to second base in the opening inning. If he’s forced to miss any substantial time, it could potentially open the door for the highly anticipated arrival of James Wood from Triple-A Rochester. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:40 pm

    • Making last rehab start
Scherzer (back/arm) is expected to throw 70-75 pitches in a rehab start with Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday, which will be his final rehab start barring a setback, Josh Kirshenbaum of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Saturday's start will be Scherzer's second rehab appearance, following up four scoreless innings Sunday. If all goes well, Scherzer will be ready to return to the active roster and make his 2024 debut after undergoing an offseason back surgery and dealing with thumb and forearm issues throughout his recovery. • Exits early versus Miami
Winker (undisclosed) exited Saturday's matchup with the Marlins in the bottom of the third inning, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Winker singled and later rounded second base on a base knock from Ildemaro Vargas in the bottom of the first inning before being tagged out after awkwardly sliding back into the bag. Luis Garcia replaced Winker at the plate in the third inning and more information on Winker's status will likely come following Saturday's contest. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:49 pm

    • Jesse Winker leaves game with apparent leg injury
Jesse Winker was removed from Saturday’s ballgame against the Marlins in the third inning with an apparent leg injury.

Advice: The 30-year-old outfielder awkwardly rounded second base before pulling up and retreating during the first inning. He stayed in the game initially, but was ultimately lifted two innings later. Expect the Nationals to provide an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:48 pm

    • Another rehab start set
Scherzer (back) will make another rehab start with Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday against Tacoma.

Advice: Scherzer will be back on the mound for the second start of his rehab assignment after tossing four scoreless innings while striking out five Sunday against Triple-A Oklahoma City. The right-hander has yet to make his season debut as he's been recovering from offseason back surgery and then a subsequent thumb injury he suffered in April. If all goes well against Tacoma, it's possible that it will be Scherzer's final rehab outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:31 pm
