      Stroman came away with a no-decision Friday against the Tigers after giving up one earned run on three hits and five walks while striking out three batters across 5.1 innings.

      Advice: Despite the Tigers' ability to reach base regularly against Stroman, a bases-loaded walk from Colt Keith in the sixth inning was the only way Detroit was able to break through on the scoreboard against him. A quiet night from New York's offense also put Stroman at risk of taking his second loss of the season, but a two-run ninth inning allowed the Yankees to steal the victory from Detroit while handing the right-hander a no-decision.       Advice: Gelof was cleared for baseball activities Wednesday, when he began fielding grounders and playing catch. His ability to do some more aggressive throwing Friday is certainly another encouraging benchmark, although it remains unclear when he'll be ready to pick up a bat again.       Arenado went 2-for-4 with two doubles and there RBI in Friday's win over the White Sox.

      Advice: Arenado gave St. Louis an early lead with a two-run double in the first inning before adding another RBI double in the fifth. Over his previous 13 games, he posted a disappointing .614 OPS with just one multi-hit performance. Friday's game was the first time he drove in multiple runs since April 20.       Josh Hader fired a scoreless ninth with two strikeouts to pick up a save Friday against the Mariners.

      Advice: Hader did walk a batter to put the tying run at the plate, but the left-hander was able to get a pair of strikeouts to lower his ERA to 5.93 and also pick up his third save.       Nolan Arenado drove in all three runs for the Cardinals while doubling twice against the White Sox on Friday.

      Advice: Arenado doubled home two runs in the first, and another in the fifth. The 33-year-old has picked up eight two-baggers in the 2024 campaign, and the pair of hits ups his slash to .279/.338/.369.       Marcus Stroman struggled with his command in a no-decision against the Tigers on Friday night, allowing one run on three hits and five walks over his 5 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: The right-hander struck out three batters on the evening. While he allowed plenty of traffic on the basepaths, the only run that scored against him came as Colt Keith worked a bases-loaded walk in the sixth inning. Stroman got just four swings and misses on 90 pitches on the night, posting an underwhelming CSW of only 24 percent.       Betts went 3-for-5 with two RBI against the Diamondbacks in Wednesday's 8-0 victory.

      Advice: Betts hasn't homered over his past 17 games, but he continues to be productive, collecting seven multi-hit efforts over that stretch while slashing .406/.481/.536. The move to shortstop this season hasn't impacted the All-Star's offensive production, as Betts is leading MLB in hits (49) and OBP (.481) while tying for first in runs (29) and walks (26).
