      Advice: The first baseman continues to make consistent hard contact. Guerrero hasn't gone two straight games without a hit since late April, and over his last 30 contests he's slashing .368/.452/.479. He's still not providing the power expected of him and has just seven doubles and two homers during that stretch, and while he's in the 98th percentile in average exit velocity at 94.2 mph and 99th percentile in hard-hit rate this season, an average launch angle of 6.1 degrees -- down from 10.5 degrees last year -- is limiting his fantasy production.       Ezequiel Tovar went 3-for-4 with a double on Saturday in the Rockies’ loss to the Dodgers.

      Advice: Tovar notched his second consecutive three-hit performance to raise his batting average to .302 (71-for-235) with eight homers and four steals through 56 contests. The 22-year-old shortstop has been an unexpected batting average booster this season and wound up leading the National League with 16 extra-base hits during the month of May. That’ll do.       Ohtani went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Rockies.

      Advice: Ohtani had gone seven games without a steal, and he hit just .167 (5-for-30) over that span. That's a rare cold spell for one of baseball's best players, who continues to do it all out of the No. 2 hole for the Dodgers.       Neris earned a save against the Reds on Saturday, allowing one hit and striking out two batters over one inning.

      Advice: Neris gave up a one-out single in the ninth inning but was able to wrap up his seventh save. The right-hander had allowed a run in each of his previous two outings, so this was a promising frame for him. The save was his first since May 4.       Hector Neris tossed a scoreless inning and picked up the save against the Reds on Saturday.

      Advice: The save was Neris’ seventh of the season. No one is going to confuse Neris with a shutdown closer. Even with the two strikeouts and no walks on Saturday, he has a SO:BB of 18:15 in 21 innings this season. Neris’ ERA is 3.00 but his xFIP is 5.10.       Gray (7-3) took the loss Saturday versus the Phillies, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out 10 over five innings.

      Advice: Gray reached double-digit strikeouts for the second time in 10 starts this year, but he received little run support after a shaky first inning. The right-hander has allowed at least four runs in three of his last five outings. For the season, he's at a 3.00 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 77:15 K:BB over 57 innings.       Sonny Gray allowed four runs in five innings and took the loss in the Cardinals’ 6-1 loss against the Phillies on Saturday.

      Advice: Gray gave up five hits, walked three and struck out 10. The Phillies jumped on him early scoring three runs in the first inning. Gray was mostly in charge the rest of the way allowing only one more run and recording 10 punch outs. His 77 strikeouts this season put him inside the top 15 for starting pitchers in all off baseball. The 34-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rockies at home next week.       Anthony Santander went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored, and a walk against the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: Santander followed Ryan Mountcastle’s homer in the first inning with his own solo blast to extend the lead. He then drew a walk in the third before scoring on a double by Kyle Stowers. Santander added another hit with a single in the fourth. The 29-year-old slugger is hitting .218/.300/.440 with ten homers and 30 RBI across 217 plate appearances.     • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swipes base in loss to Bucs
      Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swiped his second base of the season and scored the Blue Jays’ lone run in Saturday’s loss to the Pirates.

      Advice: The 25-year-old slugger smacked a one-out single off of Mitch Keller in the sixth inning, advanced to second on a line drive off the bat of Bo Bichette and scored the Jays’ only run on a two-out RBI single by Dan Vogelbach. He also drew a walk in the opening inning and swiped second base, but was left stranded there.
