  • Alex Call drives in only run in Nats win over Rangers
Alex Call went 1-for-3 with one RBI in a 1-0 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Call got the start in right field with a left-hander on the mound for the Rangers. It was Call’s third start since coming up for the injured Joey Gallo. With a runner in scoring position in the second inning, he knocked a base hit to drive in the only run of the game. The 29-year-old outfielder is 4-for-9 at the plate and should continue to get his playing time on a short-side platoon. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago
  • Kyle Finnegan strikes out the side for 10th save
Kyle Finnegan struck out the side in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save against the Rangers on Wednesday.

Advice: Finnegan was called on to close out the game with a one-run lead over the Rangers in the ninth inning. He shut the door on Texas, striking out the side on 13 pitches for his tenth save of the season. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago
  • Trevor Williams tosses five shutout in win
Trevor Williams tossed five shutout innings with three strikeouts in a win over the Rangers on Wednesday.

Advice: Williams’ strong start to the season continued on Wednesday as he was able to keep a good Rangers lineup scoreless across five frames. He worked around plenty of traffic on the bases, giving up five hits and four walks while striking out three. The 32-year-old right-hander will take a 2.27 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 22/12 K/BB ratio across 31 2/3 innings into a home start against the Orioles next week. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
  • Andrew Heaney allows one run over seven vs. Nats
Andrew Heaney gave up one run with four strikeouts over seven innings in a loss against the Nationals.

Advice: Heaney was handed a tough-luck loss after giving up just one run over seven innings in what was his best start of the season. A double and a base hit in the second brought the only run in to score on Heaney. He worked around two more hits and did not walk a batter while striking out four. The 32-year-old left-hander ends the day with a 5.10 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and a 26/9 K/BB ratio across 30 innings. He’ll take on the Athletics in Oakland on Monday. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

  • Notches another save
Neris worked around a hit to pitch a scoreless ninth inning and record the save in Wednesday's 1-0 win over the Mets.

Advice: Shota Imanaga dominated the Mets across seven innings, and then Neris shut things down to secure his fifth save of the season. The veteran righty has pitched well since taking over closing duties from Adbert Alzolay, as Neris has allowed just one earned run over his last five appearances, lowering his season ERA to 3.27. While things could change at some point, it looks like Neris is locked in as the closer in Chicago for now. Rotowire.com 29 minutes ago
  • Connor Wong collects three hits as Red Sox win
Connor Wong went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI on Wednesday, propelling the Red Sox to a 6-2 victory over the visiting Giants.

Advice: Wong started things in the fourth inning with a leadoff double off of Daulton Jefferies, then raced around to score on an RBI double by Enmanuel Valdez. He also drove in a run of his own with a two-out RBI double off of Mitch White in the seventh inning. The 27-year-old backstop has been sizzling at the dish as of late, hitting .366/.387/.620 with five homers and 14 RBI in 21 games. Rotoworld 32 minutes ago
  • Jarren Duran reaches three times in win Wednesday
Jarren Duran smacked an RBI triple, scored a run and drew a pair of walks as the Red Sox triumphed over the Giants on Wednesday evening at Fenway Park.

Advice: Duran worked a walk off of Daulton Jefferies in the third inning and came around to score the go-ahead run on an RBI ground out off the bat of Rob Refsnyder. He then plated a run of his own with a two-out RBI triple that chased Jefferies in the fourth inning. He has done a nice job atop the Red Sox’ lineup to begin the season, slashing .269/.347/.400 with one homer, 15 RBI and nine stolen bases. Rotoworld 35 minutes ago
  • Continues to dominate
Imanaga (5-0) tossed seven scoreless innings to earn the win in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over the Mets. He allowed three hits and a walk, while striking out seven.

Advice: Imanaga continued the amazing start to his MLB career, as he now has a stellar 0.78 ERA across 34.2 innings to go along with 35 strikeouts. The lefty has allowed zero earned runs in four of his six appearances so far, and the most he's allowed in an outing was the two earned runs he gave up back on April 20. While it seems unlikely that Imanaga will be able to keep up this incredible pace, it does look like he's already cemented himself as a fantasy star this season. He'll look to keep rolling in his next scheduled start, which is penciled in for Tuesday against the Padres. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago
  • Kutter Crawford fans six in victory over Giants
Kutter Crawford delivered a strong performance in Wednesday night’s victory over the Giants, allowing two runs on four hits over his seven frames.

Advice: Crawford punched out six batters on the evening while surrendering a pair of free passes. He served up a solo homer to Tom Murphy leading off the third inning, then allowed an RBI bunt single to Mike Yastrzemski in the fourth inning. That was the extent of the damage against him. Crawford got 12 swings and misses on 92 pitches in the contest, six on his cutter, while registering a CSW of 29 percent. Now 2-1 on the season, he’ll carry a brilliant 1.56 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and a 40/13 K/BB ratio (40 1/3 innings) into a tough matchup against the Braves in Atlanta on Tuesday. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago
