• Picks up sixth save
Fairbanks allowed one hit during one scoreless inning to pick up the save Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Fairbanks worked around a two-out single to pick up his sixth save. It was his third save since May 11, when he made his return from a stint on the IL. Over the three weeks since his return, he's appeared in 10 games and has yet to allow an earned run while allowing nine baserunners and striking out nine over 10 innings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:22 pm
  • Michael King gets tough luck no decision vs KC
Michael King allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a no-decision against the Royals.

Advice: King was all set to record the win with the Padres up 3-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. However, with their bullpen being taxed heavily over the last few days, the Padres had to go with Yuki Matsui to close the game, and he allowed three runs while only recording one out. King was only able to induce eight whiffs on 48 swings for a 17 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but he allowed an average exit velocity on all batted balls of just 84 mph. Despite some poor starts, he has been a solid fantasy starter for much of the year and makes for a fine play against the Diamondbacks next week. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:37 pm

  • Bat remains hot
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Bregman is starting to heat up, collecting his fourth homer in six games along with adding his fifth multi-hit effort over the last eight. Sunday's performance lifted Bregman's slash line to .229/.287/.395 while during this recent eight-game run he's batting 12-for-32 (.375) with four homers, seven RBI and five runs scored. • Pete Fairbanks picks up sixth save
Pete Fairbanks worked a scoreless ninth and earned a save Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Fairbanks has settled three saves in three weeks since coming off the IL last month, but he’s been exceptional. The only run he’s allowed in 10 appearances was an unearned one from the automatic runner scoring in extra innings. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:47 pm
  • Josh Smith has two hits in win over Marlins
Josh Smith went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Smith hasn’t gotten enough credit for the job he’s done since Josh Jung went down. The 26-year-old is hitting .287/.377/.425 with 28 runs scored, 22 RBI, three home runs, and three steals in 57 games. He’s not setting the world on fire, but he has been a really solid regular which has given him value in deeper fantasy formats. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:37 pm

  • Getting rest Sunday
Langeliers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game in Atlanta.

Advice: Langeliers looks to be receiving some routine maintenance Sunday after he caught all nine innings of Saturday's 11-9 win while going 1-for-5 with a run scored. Kyle McCann will get the nod behind the plate in the series finale. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:10 am

  • Sitting again Sunday
Wong is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Wong is on the bench for the second day in a row, but the Red Sox haven't indicated that their top backstop is dealing with any sort of injury or illness. Reese McGuire will get another turn behind the dish Sunday at Wong's expense. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:58 am

  • Idle against lefty
Merrill is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Merrill will watch from the bench as lefty Cole Ragans gets the start for Kansas City. Jose Azocar will fill in for Merrill in center field. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:40 am

  • Goes deep in Saturday's win
Swanson went 1-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 7-5 win against Cincinnati.

Advice: Swanson started June off on the right foot after only going deep once in 17 games all of last month. The shortstop has only five total home runs this season, but he also missed some time with knee soreness, which likely contributed to the slow start. If fully healthy, Swanson has the ability to get going in the power department, as he hit 20 or more long balls in each of the last three seasons with the Cubs and Atlanta.
