• Alec Bohm posts three hits, homers in victory
Alec Bohm went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer on Monday in the Phillies’ lopsided win over the Padres.

Advice: Bohm gave Philadelphia a commanding six-run advantage with a fifth-inning blast off Padres starter Randy Vásquez. It was his seventh long ball of the year and just the second time he’s gone deep since the start of the month. The 27-year-old corner infielder is in the midst of the best season of his career so far with an .848 OPS through 70 games. Rotoworld 6 minutes ago

  • Back on bench Monday
Cave is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Cave had started in 11 of the Rockies' last 12 games, but he'll head to the bench with Nolan Jones having returned from the injured list and with Brenton Doyle (knee) back in the lineup after a two-game absence. Though Cave has turned in a serviceable .250/.341/.389 slash line thus far in June, he could be relegated to a bench role now that Colorado has reclaimed some health in the outfield. • Report: Anthony Rizzo out 4-6 weeks with fracture
Anthony Rizzo was diagnosed with a fractured right arm following Sunday’s collision at first base and is likely to miss 4-6 weeks, The Athletic reports..

Advice: One wonders if Rizzo will have a job to come back to at that point. The Yankees will likely go with DJ LeMahieu at first and Oswaldo Cabrera at third for now. They’ll be on the lookout for an upgrade at first prior to the trade deadline; fortunately, it shouldn’t be hard to find better options. Rotoworld Today, 4:25 pm
  • Dealing with arm fracture
Rizzo (arm) suffered a fracture to the radial neck of his right arm and could miss 4-to-6 weeks, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Rizzo suffered the injury in the seventh inning of Sunday's 9-3 loss and he'll now likely be sidelined until at least the All-Star break. With the Yankees off Monday, the first baseman seems set to be officially placed on the injured list Tuesday, while his replacement on the roster is still unknown. In Rizzo's absence, DJ LeMahieu could see the majority of his workload over at first base while Oswaldo Cabrera picks up some starts at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Today, 4:18 pm
  • Taking seat Monday
Flores is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Flores had started at first base in each of the Giants' last five games, with three starts coming versus lefties and two coming versus right-handers. Though the Giants seem content to deploy Flores as their primary first baseman rather than a platoon bat while LaMonte Wade (hamstring) is on the injured list, Flores will nonetheless give way to rookie Trenton Brooks on Monday. • LaMonte Wade (hamstring) doubtful for Thursday
LaMonte Wade Jr. probably isn’t going to be able to make it back into the Giants lineup for the Rickwood game in Alabama on Thursday.

Advice: Wade has been aiming to play in the contest, but his strained left hamstring isn’t quite ready yet. The Giants have been getting by with Wilmer Flores and Trenton Brooks at first base. Brooks will most likely be demoted once Wade is ready. Rotoworld Today, 3:32 pm

  • Angels activate Brandon Drury from injured list
Angels activated INF Brandon Drury from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Cole Tucker was dropped to make room. Drury missed 5 1/2 weeks with a strained left hamstring. He was hitting only .173/.230/.240 in 113 plate appearances before going down, and Angels manager Ron Washington said over the weekend that he’d be benched if he didn’t produce pretty quickly after coming off the IL. Expect him to get regular playing time for now between second base and DH. Rotoworld Today, 2:52 pm

  • Returns from injured list
The Angels activated Drury (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday.

Advice: Drury wound up being sidelined for nearly six weeks of action with a left hamstring strain but is ready to roll after playing six rehab games. Most of Drury's starts with the Angels will probably come at second base, but first base, third base and designated hitter are options, as well. Rotowire.com Today, 2:47 pm

  • Getting rest against lefty
Smith is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: With southpaw Yusei Kikuchi taking the hill for Toronto, the lefty-hitting Smith will give way to Bobby Dalbec at first base. Expect the two to form a platoon at the position until Triston Casas (ribs) returns from the 10-day injured list, perhaps shortly before the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Today, 2:32 pm
