• Departs with hamstring tightness
Langford exited Saturday's game against the Royals in the fifth inning due to right hamstring tightness, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Langford slowed up noticeably while trying to beat out a dribbler in front of the plate in the top of the fifth inning and was removed for defense prior to the bottom of the frame. The rookie figures to be sent for an MRI to determine the extent of the injury. Langford was hitless in three plate appearances Saturday before being lifted. Rotowire.com 43 minutes ago

  • Exits with apparent knee injury
Murphy was removed from Saturday's game versus the Phillies in the second inning with an apparent knee injury, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Murphy looked to tweak his knee as he chased down a wild pitch. The Giants already put Patrick Bailey on the 7-day concussion injured list earlier Saturday and now may have lost another catcher. Blake Sabol -- who was recalled to replace Bailey on the roster -- took over behind the dish for Murphy on Saturday. Rotowire.com 48 minutes ago

  • Returns from IL with homer
Kiermaier went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Activated from the injured list earlier in the day following a minimum absence with a hip injury, Kiermaier took reliever Derek Law deep in the eighth inning to extend the Blue Jays' lead. It was his first longball of the season and just his third extra-base hit. Kiermaier finished last season with an above-average 104 OPS+, but for fantasy purposes he remains more of an AL-only play. • Throws light bullpen session
McCullers (forearm) threw a light bullpen session Saturday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: McCullers had previously done some throwing from the front slope of the mound, but this was his first time throwing from the top of the bump since he had surgery last June to repair the flexor tendon and remove a bone spur from his forearm. It's a big step, but McCullers is still at least a month away from a rehab assignment, with a return to the Astros hopefully by July if all goes well. Rotowire.com Today, 4:42 pm
  • Logan O’Hoppe diagnosed with right hand contusion
The Angels announced that Logan O’Hoppe was diagnosed with a right hand contusion after exiting Saturday’s game against the Guardians.

Advice: It sounds like the 24-year-old backstop was fortunate to avoid any fractures after he had his had hit by a foul ball during Saturday’s game against the Guardians. He may need a day or two off to deal with pain and swelling, but shouldn’t be looking at any sort of extended absence. Rotoworld Today, 4:41 pm

  • Max Scherzer (thumb) currently in holding pattern
Max Scherzer (back, thumb) is currently in a holding pattern when it comes to his rehab process.

Advice: The 39-year-old right-hander was scratched from a rehab outing earlier in the week due to inflammation in his thumb ligament. While that issue hasn’t gotten any worse, it also hasn’t improved over the last couple of days, causing the Rangers to kind of put everything on hold. They’ll continue to take things day-to-day until he feels improvement and is ready to resume playing catch again. Obviously that means there’s no clear timetable for when he may take the mound for the Rangers. Rotoworld Today, 4:38 pm
  • Exits game with hand contusion
O'Hoppe was removed from Saturday's game against the Guardians with a right hand contusion, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: O'Hoppe took a foul tip off his throwing hand in the bottom of the fourth inning. He initially remained in the game -- striking out in the top of the fifth -- before exiting prior to the bottom of the fifth. X-rays came back negative, so O'Hoppe can safely be called day-to-day. With an afternoon game coming Sunday, he would seem to be a safe bet to miss at least that contest. Rotowire.com Today, 4:36 pm

  • Logan O’Hoppe exits game with hand injury Saturday
Logan O’Hoppe was removed from Saturday’s contest against the Guardians with a right hand injury.

Advice: O’Hoppe was clipped on the hand by a foul ball while behind the plate in the fourth inning on Saturday and appeared to be in quite a bit of pain. He’ll presumably head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. Stay tuned. Rotoworld Today, 4:32 pm

  • Leaves game with hamstring injury
Kwan was lifted from Saturday's game against the Angels due to left hamstring tightness, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Kwan looked to tweak his hamstring while chasing down a flyball in the top of the third inning and was removed prior to the top of the fourth. It's not clear at this point whether he might require an MRI, but the Guardians figure to offer an update on his condition after the game. Rotowire.com Today, 4:30 pm
