      Trevor Megill slammed the door on the Rockies in the ninth inning on Tuesday evening, preserving a one-run lead to notch his 18th save of the season.

      Advice: The Brewers rallied to score twice in the top half of the ninth inning, setting the stage for Megill to come on and do his thing. The 30-year-old hurler made it look easy once again, getting Ezequiel Tovar on a fly ball to center and Brendan Rodgers on a swinging third strike to begin the inning. He did allow a two-out single to Ryan McMahon, but battled back to get Elias Diaz on a swinging third strike to end it.       Advice: With Edwin Diaz still out due to suspension, Garrett entered with a three-run lead and two outs in the 10th inning. The previous reliever, Tyler Jay, left runners on first and second to clean up. After allowing a run-scoring single to Keibert Ruiz, Garrett punched out Luis Garcia to bring New York back to .500.
