      Advice: Stott used his wheels in the fifth inning, beating out a potential inning-ending double play ball to score Whit Merrifield with the game’s first run. He then tacked on a valuable insurance run in the eighth with a sacrifice fly.       Jazz Chisholm Jr. (hand) was held out of the Marlins’ starting lineup on Friday after being hit by a pitch on Thursday.

      Advice: X-rays came back negative for any fractures, but the 26-year-old outfielder was still a bit sore on Friday so the decision was made to hold him out of action. The veteran slugger has found a groove at the plate, going 10-for-25 (.400) over the last eight games with a double, a homer, four RBI, seven runs and an 8:6 BB:K.
