• Two hits, two RBI in win
Langford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-0 win against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Langford singled and scored a run in the fourth inning then added a two-run base hit in the ninth. In four games since returning from the injured list with a hamstring strain, Langford has posted two multi-hit efforts and totaled four RBI. Langford's current slash line of .229/.292/.290 has obviously been disappointing, but he appears healthy and has started each game since his return from the injured list on May 28. • Four hits, four RBI vs. Atlanta
Andujar went 4-for-5 with a three-run homer, an additional RBI and three total runs scored in Saturday's 11-9 victory over Atlanta.

Advice: Andujar extended Oakland's lead to 6-2 in the second inning, blasting a three-run homer off Chris Sale. It's the second homer in seven games for Andujar this year, and he's gone 9-for-17 with three extra-base hits in his last four contests. Overall, he's slashing an outstanding .448/.433/.724 through his first 30 plate appearances with 12 RBI, six runs scored and two steals while settling into an everyday role in Oakland. • Wyatt Langford drives in pair against Marlins
Wyatt Langford drove in two runs in a victory over the Marlins for the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Langford’s RBI came in garbage time, as he drove in a pair of runs to make it 7-0 in the ninth inning. Still counts. He also struck out three times, but since returning from the injured list Tuesday, Langford has picked up a pair of multi-hit games while driving in three runs. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:09 pm
  • Yordan Alvarez homers twice as Astros top Twins
Yordan Alvarez went 3-for-3 with two homers and three RBI in a 5-2 win Saturday over the Twins for the Astros.

Advice: Alvarez also drew a walk. The 26-year-old slugger took Joe Ryan deep with a runner on in the first, and did more damage against Ryan with a solo shot in the fifth. That ups Alvarez’s total to 11 roundtrippers on the year, and he’s plated 25 over the first 59 games of the season for the Astros. Alvarez has been as good as any hitter in baseball the last few years, and it’s the only reason why those numbers and a .283/.357/.480 slash seem slightly disappointing. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:03 pm
  • Josh Hader fires scoreless inning for save vs. Twins
Josh Hader worked a scoreless inning to get a save against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Hader did allow a walk and didn’t strike anyone out, but he was able to escape without a run while picking up his eighth save of the season. The 30-year-old should continue to be one of the finest closing options for the remainder of 2024. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:01 pm

  • Andujar homers, drives in four against Braves
Miguel Andujar went 4-for-5 with three runs scored, a home run, and four RBI against the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Andujar’s three-run home run off Chris Sale in the second inning put the Athletics up 6-2. He’s now 13-for-29 (.448) with two home runs and 12 RBI in seven games this year. Andujar is yet to take a walk and has a career walk percentage of only four percent. He also doesn’t strike out very often with a career strikeout percentage of 16 percent. If Andujar can keep up the power he’s shown at the plate he might actually have some staying power this time around. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:38 pm
  • José Ramírez scores twice in win over Nationals
José Ramírez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base in the Guardians 3-2 win over the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Ramírez knocked a base hit in the first inning and scored on a single by Kyle Manzardo. He knocked another base hit to lead off the third and stole second before scoring from second on a wild pitch. The 31-year-old third baseman has been on a tear over the last month. He’s hitting .276/.332/.553 with 16 homers, 44 runs scored, 57 RBI, and nine steals across 250 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:49 pm
  • Mitch Keller fans eight in victory over Blue Jays
Mitch Keller delivered a dominant performance in Saturday afternoon’s victory over the Blue Jays, racking up eight strikeouts over six innings of one-run baseball.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander scattered just five hits and one walk on the day. The lone tally against him came in the sixth inning as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. singled, advanced on a line drive and raced around to score on a two-out single by Dan Vogelbach. That’s really the only time that they threatened. Keller generated 10 swings and misses on 106 pitches in the ballgame, posting a CSW of 28 percent. Now 7-3 on the season, he’ll tote an impressive 3.42 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and a 66/20 K/B ratio (73 2/3 innings) into Friday’s showdown against the Twins. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:01 pm
  • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swipes base in loss to Bucs
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swiped his second base of the season and scored the Blue Jays’ lone run in Saturday’s loss to the Pirates.

Advice: The 25-year-old slugger smacked a one-out single off of Mitch Keller in the sixth inning, advanced to second on a line drive off the bat of Bo Bichette and scored the Jays’ only run on a two-out RBI single by Dan Vogelbach. He also drew a walk in the opening inning and swiped second base, but was left stranded there. Guerrero finished the day 2-for-3 and is now slashing .292/.390/.406 with five homers, 25 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:58 pm
