    Advice: Nelson's outing lasted one pitch, a hanging slider that Nolan Gorman sent over the right-center field fence for a walk-off, two-run home run.     Advice: Thompson executed a perfect 1-2-3 eighth inning before giving up a leadoff infield single to open the bottom of the ninth. He was replaced by Kyle Nelson for a lefty-on-lefty matchup, but the at-bat lasted one pitch. Nolan Gorman tattooed a hanging slider for a walk-off, two-run home run. Thompson has pitched well thus far, posting a 1.86 ERA with four holds through 10 outings (eight scoreless).     Winn (2-3) earned the win against the Mets on Monday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk while striking out six batters over six innings.

    Advice: The only run Winn allowed came on a Pete Alonso solo homer in the fifth inning, which was also the Mets' lone extra-base hit in the contest. The right-handed hurler finished with his second straight quality start, and he's allowed just two runs over 12 frames during that two-game stretch. Winn appears to be finding a groove and has been a valuable component of San Francisco's pitching staff so far this season, posting a 3.54 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 23:9 K:BB through 28 innings.     Adell went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a stolen base Monday in a loss to the Orioles.

    Advice: Adell produced the Angels' first run with a solo homer in the seventh inning. He then helped in the team's attempt to try to rally in the ninth, leading off the frame with a hit-by-pitch, advancing to second on a single and subsequently stealing third, though he was ultimately stranded there. Adell continues to receive sporadic playing time -- this was just his second start in the Angels' past six contests -- but he's done well when on the field, slashing .281/.314/.531 with two home runs, five RBI, seven runs and six steals through 35 plate appearances.
