• Call-up likely due to Gelof injury
Hernaiz is a likely candidate for a promotion from Triple-A Las Vegas if Zack Gelof's oblique injury forces him to go on the injured list, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Gelof was held out of Wednesday's loss to the Yankees with what was originally described as abdominal soreness, and he was eventually diagnosed with a left oblique strain and labeled as a likely IL candidate. If that indeed comes to pass, it appears Hernaiz, who's hit .211 over his first six games with Las Vegas since his demotion last Thursday, would make a quick return to the big-league club. Hernaiz has experience at second base, third base and shortstop, and but he scuffled to a .103/.156/.103 slash line across his first 32 plate appearances to start the season before being sent down to the Aviators. • Collects ninth steal
Caballero went 1-for-3 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Tigers.

Advice: The shortstop continues to make an impact on the basepaths. Caballero has gone 4-for-4 on steal attempts over the last six games, and on the season he sports a .272/.302/.432 slash line with two homers, nine stolen bases, 11 runs and 11 RBI in 23 contests. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago
  • Homer, three hits in win
Henderson went 3-for-3 in Wednesday's win over the Angels with a home run, a double, three RBI and three runs scored. He also stole a base.

Advice: Henderson was hit by a pitch in the opening at-bat to start the game and wasted no time in getting his revenge, taking Tyler Anderson deep for a leadoff home run in his next trip to the plate to put the Orioles up 1-0. The star shortstop would then add a double and a two-run single in his next two-at bats while also being hit by a pitch for the second time in the contest. Henderson has now homered in back-to-back games and also extended his hitting streak to five games with Wednesday's performance. Even more impressive is the fact that he's tallied multiple hits in seven of his last 10 games. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago

  • Four hits in rout
Betts went 4-for-6 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI in Wednesday's 11-2 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The 31-year-old continues to rake. Betts has had three or more hits three times in the last 10 games, batting .395 (17-for-43) over that stretch, and on the season he's already delivered a .365/.468/.625 slash line with six homers, five steals, 21 RBI and 26 runs in 26 contests. He hasn't produced a 30-30 campaign since 2018, but Betts seems intent on reaching that milestone again. Rotowire.com Today, 6:38 am

  • Busting out against Phillies
Espinal started at second base and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 7-4 win over Philadelphia.

Advice: Espinal has feasted on Phillies' pitching, going 5-for-7 with a home run and five RBI over the first two games of the series. It was his fourth straight start at second base in place of Jonathan India (illness), but the ailing India was available off the bench Wednesday and presumably will be available for the series finale Thursday afternoon. • Smacks two homers in win
Lindor went 4-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's win over the Giants.

Advice: Lindor provided most of the offense for the Mets on Wednesday, launching a two-run homer in the top of the third to put New York on the board before then adding a second two-run shot in the ninth. The shortstop finished with season highs in hits (four) and RBI (four), raising his average to .206 in the process. Lindor has gotten off to a slow start to begin the campaign but now registered multiple hits in five of his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Today, 4:41 am
  • Nabs two thefts in loss
Moore went 2-for-3 with a walk and two stolen bases in Wednesday's loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Seattle managed only one run in the contest, but that wasn't due to a lack of production on Moore's part. The utility man collected two of the team's eight hits and put himself in scoring position twice with a pair of steals. Moore is up to five thefts on the campaign, but he's still slashing a meager .214/.358/.357. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:36 pm

  • Breaks hitless streak
Shewmake went 1-for-3 with a run scored and two stolen bases Wednesday against the Twins.

Advice: Shewmake sat two straight games, but he returned Wednesday to start at second base and hit eighth. He also ended a four-game hitless streak with a bunt single in the fifth inning before stealing a pair of bases -- including home. Shewmake is hitting just .158 across 40 plate appearances on the campaign, but he has chipped in four stolen bases and is striking out at just a 12.5 percent clip. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:52 pm
  • Three more steals Wednesday
De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and three stolen bases in Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Phillies.

Advice: It's already the second three-steal game for De La Cruz this season -- he's up to a league-leading 15 stolen bases on the campaign. The 22-year-old shortstop has been sensational through the first month of the year, batting .313 with a 1.063 OPS, seven home runs, 23 runs scored and 18 RBI through his first 24 games.
